MY THEORY. The GG2 costume in the trailer is a fake-out move!

GG2/Harry may have worn his father Norman's costume in the comics, but the movies are different. Remember in SM1, Harry said about his dad..."if I'm lucky I'll become half the man he is!" He doesn't WANT to be like his father....at all. And by creating a new suit for his brigade as the Green Goblin 2, he feels like it's what he should be doing. His father's spirit (in SM2) tempted Harry to become the Goblin, and so he does. But he WILL NOT become his father. The costume we see Harry as GG2 in the SM3 teaser is his one and only costume, or atleast it should be IMO. Harry doesn't want to be his father, or any thing like his father. So, he desgins "his" version of the Green Goblin suit.

I could be wrong though, but I doubt he has two costumes. And I must be the only one on the Hype! that likes his GG2 costume from the teaser....I think it's good and creative.

I doubt this was intentionally done to "fool" anybody. They probably didn't have the CGI done for the wrestling costume and gave the CGI character the Spidey costume just so they'd have material for the trailer.

I'm almost certain the GG you see in the Spidey 3 trailer is the GG we're going to get.

Well, it's just the point that Harry Osborn is not Norman Osborn. People complained about GG1's costume forever and are still complaining, and now...they're all complaining about GG2's costume. Get over it people! I personally do not want to see the same costume worn by two different people in two different movies.

No seriously, I just think that GG2 looks awesome in the teaser. I don't care what other people think. But the point I'm trying to get across to folks here is that Raimi and crew were going for a "Harry doesn't want to be like or isn't his father's Goblin" storyline. It'll work out great.

Plus you know, Harry could always come to the final battle in his father's GG armor, to help Peter.
