Finally watched the final eps..although the Jessica betrayal could be seen coming a mile away...that final scene with the second lifeboat...!! ..probably the most badass scene of the entire series.

He explained earlier this season how Lucy was able to give the diary to him. He said it was a Lucy from 5 years in the future. She wondered how they could possibly travel back within their own lifetime and do such a thing because it was contrary to the laws of time travel. He said that they must have figured it out somehow because that's what happened.

I think he said the same thing last season but she didn't believe him because she thought that kind of time travel was impossible.

They obviously have figured it out in the future with that upgraded Lifeboat.

At this point, I imagine it would likely be next summer. I remember that's when S2 was supposed to hit, but it managed to land in the spring. The longer it takes for word to come out, I imagine we'll have to wait just that much longer for it to air.

****. I knew the longer it took odds were getting worse. They did say going to new time periods every week is costly, but hey. Other shows have done it.

This is why alot of people hate network television. They rope you in, make you care about the characters and story..then say "eff you"...

Netflix saved Lucifer. Amazon saved The Expanse. Itd be nice if Hulu would save Timeless.

Idiots! Why did NBC delay so long if they always planned to cancel it anyway?

Can they possibly even cheat cancellation again? It seems doubtful this time, especially since they've already seen the fans campaigning so relentlessly since the end of the 2nd season.

Someone else should pick it up. But who would be willing to do that? It shouldn't be on NBC.

The Killing was able to defy the odds 3 times and got closure in a final season on Netflix.

A tv movie would be nice (though I'd prefer Hulu or Netflix come in with a 3rd season, even if it's just 8 episodes.

Most of the time these TV movies to bring closure never materialise. Lots of shows have wanted that before but it doesn't happen. It's better if another network picks this up than a rushed movie too.
