So, how many lame Jason costumes are you expecting to see this Halloween season?

What's wrong with people dressing up as Jason for Halloween?

Jason along with Freddy and Myers are standards you almost always see every year anyways.

Saw a couple pretty cool costumes today, along with a friday the 13th axe and machette. Not bad items if your a huge fan.

In high school I went to the Halloween dance dressed as Jason and won a prize for scariest costume.

Friday the 13th 8 was not that bad, why people hate it so much?

I enjoyed it, it gave the movie a new atmosphere when he arrived in a big city.

...and then promptly ended 10 minutes later. Even though I have nothing against Part 8, they should've just called it "Jason on a Boat!" or "Jason: Displeasure Cruise!"

Friday the 13th 8 was not that bad, why people hate it so much?

I for one hate all Zombie Jason movies. As I live in Vancouver it's kinda fun to watch and try and spot the Vancouver landmarks that they try and pass off for New York. But that's the only good thing I have to say about it. Scotty could beam you up onto the Starship Enterprise to get them away from Zombie Jason, and Voorhees would be standing waiting for him on the teleporter platform with Scotty's head in his hand waiting for you to materialize. It's rediculous.

There were parts of this remake actually liked.
But there were parts that drove me insane.
Jason doesan't take prisoners.

He does if they bear a striking resemblance to his mother and make him feel nostalgic...I loved that aspect of the reboot; and Whitney is one of the best characters in the series.

When that happened in part 2 he didnt take the girl as a prisoner. nfact he obeyed all of her oders, until he realized it wasen't her.
Hes a mammas boy.

And he did the same with Whitney, he stopped when she called his name and held up the locket just as he did with Ginny in Part 2, Jason sparing her when he got a good look at her and she reminded him of his mother wasn't out of character at all.

Remember when Ginny in part 2 made him think she was his mother just by wearing Mrs Voorhees sweater?

Whitney actually looked alot like Mrs Voorhees when she was younger.

Indeed, Ginny was mind-****ing him by using what she knew about him to bring back memories of his mother....Whitney didn't have to try to do it because she just naturally looked like her.
Anyone that reminds him of his mother automatically becomes more to him than "just another damn teenager."

I guess there is no sense in arguing because a remake is a remake nd doesnt really have to follow the the original to a T.

That's because Ginny was a specialist in child psychology. It's mentioned earlier in the movie that she's studying that in college. She knew how to play with his mind.

That's right. He spotted his mother's severed head behind Ginny, and went beserk and attacked her.

I liked how the remake progressed from child jason to burlap sack jason to hockey mask jason.
They did a good job on that aspect.

They always try and use Canada for NY spots if they cannot get NY itself.

I prefer fast, hunting, hillbilly Jason myself and not zombie Jason.

But Part 8 was hilarious, especially when he killed the boxer on the rooftop. And the theme song is awesome.
