Here are the first three:

Once we have the alphabetic set of symbols, could sum1 take a pic or the like? It may be that we need to spell something else out, or rotate, or something.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do with the dashes. :oldrazz:

I've got 21 separate images file though, anyone want?

Folks we are working on a TWO STAGE cypher:

Joker cells began receiving texts on June 25th saying one of:
To find the next sideshow, share these with your fellow goons. Then be amazed.
To find the next sideshow, share these with your fellow goons. There's no substitution for fun.
So stage one: substitution cypher (done). Stage 2: De-maze.

42e has played a similar trick in Vanishing Point. The substitution cipher:

stage_1.jpg

decrypted as
THIS TRICKSTER SHARES HIS NAME WITH THAT OF A SILVER BANDED HOLY RELIC.
That yields the answer "Blackstone", who was both a magician and is a holy relic of the Islamic faith.

moving the decrypted symbols into the order for blackstone gave stage TWO:
stage_2.jpg

and THAT was the final answer.

We need to put the cypher symbols in alphabetical order (first) then see if the image they form leads us anywhere new.
well its just an idea hope it works

i see a trip to kinkos in my future

ooh yeah animated GIF would be easiest
Do you have a gif-editing program so you can get to all of them separately? :oldrazz:

And yeah, they're all .gifs. Maybe I'll just put them all in a zip file and upload it to share with you guys.

well GIMP will do it as will photoshop or any number of others. Gimp is free and <awesome> tho so why go further?

But--nothing obvious? I was thinking maybe u could leave gaps in the 6x6 grid for missing letters; 21 letters so 5x5 would do the trick; or maybe we need to spell something with the cryptsymbols.

Sure makes sense to me...but then I was totally off on the timecode. Ticktockticktock

I'm also lazy and I don't want to deal with all of the layers. :o

And making an animated gif feels beyond me right now as well. :oldrazz: Gonna attach the zip file, it's only 20kb.

There are the "letters" as shown on the grid that's uploaded to the Wiki. I haven't made any substitutions.

awesome. I'll pull out our alphabet and post it.

I've given up with the whole alphabet idea and now I'm just moving layers around in Photoshop to see what fits.

I think I'm starting to go cross-eyed. :o

ok i dunno if this is what to do...now for the rest i dont know how to proceed

umm...why does no-one read the wiki? this has all been done

1) Anita works on the wiki and probably would like to have everything laid out so she can post it so people can understand better.

2) We think there's two parts to the picture puzzle because there's two clues, so they're experimenting with that.

Well, first off....there has been and still is a HUGE influx of newbies just for the game. Alot of them don't seem to know that the wiki is there. Secondly, I think that it just boils down to laziness and people's inept ability to be patient and search for an answer themselves.

Does anyone get the answers themselves?

The Collective efforts of the forum members do it...or a "Ninja". Correct?

well i didnt knew that the answer was already there...but i looked for my self then;-) i just thought there is still something going on with the puzzle....and i live in a different time zone...

I don't quite understand this - are you saying the lazy people search for answers themselves, or are you saying that people should be lazy and wait for others to solve it, then read about it on the wiki?
Everyone who starts on this board is a "newbie" at some time or another, but just because their post count is low does not mean they were just born today. A lot of people are just now starting to hear about this board, and coming by to see what it offers, and if what it offers is a bunch of resentment from "old-timers" who see this as "their turf" that is being defiled by new users, well, I would not blame them for not joining and only watching from the sidelines.
