I'm glad about this. The 20th anniversary since the start of the franchise and the release of "X-Men". Makes more sense to me, feels cool.

Just goes to show you that one can’t get too excited just because a movie was on a screen or even announced at CinimaCon, especially when there are several other factors in play.

There's a logic to it. I tend to think March is worse than August when it comes to location. August is a good time for the final hit of the summer where it can benefit from weaker competition. March is the start of the movie season so it can get buried quickly. Honestly, if they had announced they were going to move it to January, it would have made sense.

That being said, regardless of whether this story is true, I figured out the reason for thinking it. March 13 is a spot Fox reserved for an X-Men film. It's just officially listed as Gambit. But it would go head tro head with Godzilla vs. King Kong.
