Um, if you're talking about The Eternals... he was right about that. The guy made the mistake of trusting his insider's personal opinion of Deadpool 2, but for the most part he's reliable.

His Eternals "scoop" came after others were already mentioning it. He then said we'd see more about it in the next week or so and nothing came of it, so no he was not right. We haven't seen anything about it. He was dead wrong on Deadpool 2 and was willing to go to bat and die on that opinion when people were challenging him. Guy is a hack, but you can trust him if you want.

I will. The guy started talking about a potential Eternals movie weeks before anyone else did. His plot description of Deadpool 2 was also 100% accurate, and over the last few months he's been right about many other little things.

Again, his only big mistake so far was putting too much trust in what his insider thought of Deadpool 2. That was dumb of him, but I'm not going to dismiss him just based on that.

The guy is legit. He may be a jerk sometimes, but he does have legitimate sources.

He pretty much revealed what the end credit scenes were. although he revealed the baby hitler one that got cut on the final release for being upsetting to the screening audience.

Beyond the opinion of the film ending up being more positive then he thought he actually wasn't wrong about the deadpool 2 details

Personally, I never felt Deadpool and Vanessa should've stayed together. There was nowhere for that relationship to go.

I wasn't against them staying together, but DP2 showed the writers had no clue what to do with them.
In my opinion it was a mistake not developing her into Copycat. It would have given her something to do and would have caused chaos for their relationship.

I saw two scenarios early on, she dies Or she becomes CopyCat and takes a different path then Wade. That's a film unto itself.

Establishing Cable and Domino took priority. There were too many characters already with NTW and others (outside Colossus) getting screen time cut down. If they wanted Copycat (which I think they do), Nessa would require a bulk of the screen time. The film couldn't have Vanessa just tagging along being the damsel against all these powerful characters again. Or her being the stay at home girlfriend. It's not great for the character, but I get the choice given the story and characters they wanted to introduce. Get Deadpool at his lowest, set up X-Force leads. The only thing he cares about is Nessa so makes sense. Once she becomes Copycat, she's pretty much a villain and rival of Deadpool unless they decide to go a complete different route.

Hopefully X-Force will include that storyline.

Vanessa isn't dead. And that seems to be the favoured view of Ryan and Co too

If anything they just needed to get her out of the way for a little while so deadpool could be deadpool

And slugszilla is probably popular for the wrong reason when it comes down to it. What he said has become a rumour but it's bound to become one that makes him look bad since he is making quite big suggestions that a lot of people feel makes little sense to the situation.

But then no one knows who Slugzilla is so am not sure he cares all that much.

I really want to see Dark Phoenix in the theater, even if it's terrible. I do believe something is up otherwise we would be getting that trailer that was supposedly previewed weeks ago now. If this week goes by with no teaser, given the rumors being everywhere, I think Fox (and maybe Marvel) might indeed be waiting until after -reshoots to even decide what to do with this film. I really want to see New Mutants as well, and X Force (featuring OG cast member cameos) in a theater before Disney adds mutants to the MCU but I'm prepared for a long wait.

I don't think Fox care about that stuff though. Which is pretty much why these films and even Logan were filmed fairly under radar.

They will release it when they are ready to release. Not because they need to shut people up.

For purposes of clarity in what has become a clouded mess of misinformation, confusion, and chaotic arguments, I would like to concede the fact that the rumors I heard and reported on from various individuals regarding Dark Phoenix, Externals, and Gambit may not be accurate.

If I recall correctly I believe I made it clear when posting these rumors that they were not coming directly from me, but that I was relaying information that I had been told. As I was simply told these things, it is certainly possible I may have been mislead regarding the films I had nothing to do with.

I have only posted information that I have believed to be accurate as it came to me from individuals that I believed I could trust, but with all of the reports to the contrary coming out about those movies I myself have begun to question the validity of what these people have been telling me.

For whatever it is worth, if the information regarding the films aside from New Mutants does turn out to be false, I would like to apologize to everyone on these forums and those involved in the creation of those movies. In retrospect I believe it was irresponsible of me to speak of things I did not know to be completely accurate, and I apologize for reporting these things that were not personally witnessed by me as it seems to have caused an eruption of various emotions and been the source of a lot of controversy and verbal disagreements.

However with all that said, I actually was/am directly involved in the production of New Mutants & have personally witnessed/ been involved in everything I've said regarding that film, thus I stand behind that information 100%, as I actually lived it. And as I have stated before, I can personally confirm it will not see theatrical release. From here on out I will not be sharing anything that I am told or hear about regarding the films I am not actively involved in. I believe this to be the appropriate course of action at this time.

That New Mutants IMAX date looks very dicey even if all the rumors about the film are false. It's sitting right between two Disney flicks in The Lion King and Artemis Fowl. One of those films (most likely the first) will absorb that date.
