eXciting!
Kevin Feige confirmed to Variety that talks are well underway about merging the Fox-owned characters into the MCU and he expects to begin cracking these stories in the first half of 2019.
“We’ve been told it’s looking very, very good and could happen in the first six months of next year,” Feige confirmed to Variety. “The notion of the characters coming back is great. It’s nice when a company that created all these characters can have access to all those characters. It’s unusual not to. But in terms of actually thinking about it and actually planning things, we haven’t started that yet.”
Kevin Feige Expects MCU to Begin Developing Fox Properties Like ‘X-Men’ in First Half of 2019
I like that there are two different versions of this headline with the other one being "Feige hasn't begun developing stories for X-Men yet."
and not to mention that Feige has always said that he always has plans A and B to introduce the characters the other studios had, in case one day Marvel Studios get them back. So..... with this whole Fox-Disney thing that feels like started like a year ago (with the rumors and all).... at this point Id bet money Feige already has a lot of ideas on paper (not just his head) at his home.
Me too, time to get this property off his hands. Enough is enough.I am so glad the mutants will no longer have to do with Kinberg's incompetence.
It's possible he's saying that the film will never be released. Why you say that?
How bad does a movie have to be to make everyone involved want you to forget it ever even existed?
same person said thisJust heard a whisper through the grapevine. #newmutants will be delayed again. Fox & Boone are really struggling coming to terms on a comprehensible and finish product. They're looking to release it in early November. But...
Fox is still toying with a Hulu release in October for #newmutants. They're trying to decide which method would have a more returnable value for an otherwise dead on arrival film.
