I don't judge my reading based on how much I like a person, I base it on how much I like their work.

Interviews aside, this really is a great book, I like the direction it is headed and have really enjoyed the last few arcs. That is the bottom line for me, it is fun, interesting and just a great read.

I made a deal with myself. If Kevin or Jay dies I'm dropping It. If Jay loses his powers I might drop it.

I haven't read the issue yet, so I can't help you.

But I wanted to bring this up. It was two years ago when I said this,(Year and a half, more like) and the reason I didn't follow up on this was because the writing is what really kept me interested. It's a good book, but cleary not for everyone.

dont even get me started on what they've done or havent down with Elixer. He's barely even there. I like Yost and Kyle on hte title but man how I wish N&C were still around bc I did like what they were doing with the New Mutants. Y&K pretty much pushed them aside with the exception of Surge and to a degree Prodigy

^I, too, would like to see Elixer back in the limelight....but I really think they have handled the rest of the team really well. I am not a huge fan of Surge...but I like the team set up and look forward to this next Magik arc.
