I really like and respect Russ Feingold for the fact that he is a good and honest man. Sadly, I think he would've been too liberal for mainstream America to win in the general election.

As a liberal Democrat, I agree with a lot of what Feingold stands for, but he shouldn't be on an executive ticket. He would isolate voters and reinforce the Republicans' "liberal wack-job" theory. Right now, the best candidates would be those who have a history of bipartisanism and maybe even slight conservatism.
