No Confirmation Yet, Is TIH2 Going to Happen?

So, what villains do you all think should appear throughout the franchise?

Iron Man. I want World War Hulk all over again.

I'll just be grateful if I get The Leader in a sequel soon.

I don't know. It's kind of hard to top the Abomination. The Hulk has to face a bigger threat that's for sure.
I was thinking, as I mentioned in another thread, that they should continue with the Leader.
He, (if he retained Banner's blood samples), could have escaped with a few of them, only to resurface with a small army of 2nd/3rd generation Hulks which he threatens the world with.
All the world's military would come together to try to stop him but fail.
Banner is the only hope, and he tracks down the Leader's secret hideout in some cave in the mountains. Goes in and turns into the Hulk to fight a whole army of Hulks.
Just one crazy wild sweaty Hulk orgy. Make the final battle 26 minutes long!! Hahaha!

But seriously, it would be crazy to see a battle like that.

Maybe Hulk could fight like 50 to 100 Hulks all at once.
That would definitely up the threat and action for the sequel.

We don't need the Leader to appear and make a bunch of Hulk clones, that's entirely too much for one movie. What they could do is simply have the Leader somehow mutate Abomination to make him stronger (maybe a little bigger too in size; from 11 feet to maybe 13 feet tall) so he can use him to fight the Hulk, and the two team up. The Abomination has brains and brawn, but the Leader has an even bigger brain with barely any brawn, if any. That would do just fine.

It's too late, Aldar! TOO LATE! I just spoke on the phone with Louis Leterrier, and he loved my idea and said he was going to start filming tomorrow. He said he loved the idea so much he was going to make a thousand Hulks fight with the main Hulk AND then, he was going to bring out a thousand She-Hulks for the main Hulk to have some fun! :hehe::hehe:!!
There's nothing you can do about it!

So, logical people, what do you think about them using Ravage as a villain?

Gale Anne Hurd on the Future of The Hulk
Source:MTV
October 24, 2008

MTV chatted with The Incredible Hulk producer Gale Anne Hurd, who said she has every intention on making a follow-up and that Edward Norton is signed on:

"It's all going to depend on the screenplay and where his character goes in any sequel, because he does have a multiple-picture deal," she said of Norton, who told us recently that he's waiting to hear from Marvel regarding Hulk's future. "[Norton's situation] is the same with every franchise like this, when you have one of the top actors of his generation."

But first, you're likely going to see him in The Avengers:

"Next, he's likely to appear in an 'Avengers' movie, but that's completely up to Marvel," she explained. "It's wonderful that Marvel now controls so many of their own characters, and they can create a Marvel universe in film and populate it with so many of their characters who naturally exist together. I think an 'Avengers' film is a very exciting prospect."

...
You know who also had a contract? Terrance Howard.

Just sayin' :cwink:

Heh, I posted the same thing in another thread :o

 Leader and Abomination team-up would be ideal for the sequel.

Hopefully the leader mutates the Abom somehow to make him bigger/stronger, and make him look more like the comics.

Not bad. Right now, I think Hulk DESERVES a sequel just as badly as Iron Man is getting one now. :bh:

Bad idea, just leave him the way he is. There's no point in making him look like a lizard/human hybrid when he's already mutated beyond belief. They can have the Leader increase his strength, but that's it.

Logical people? Are you saying my idea is illogical?
There's nothing illogical about it. His name's the Leader, he has to lead something. Or else what would be the point of calling him the Leader.

The movie ends with no idea about what happened to the multiple blood samples he created from Banner. We have to assume he has the samples. What else could he possibly do with those samples if not make himself some sort of an Army? His name's the "Leader".
I was joking and exaggerating about a thousand 2nd/3rd generation Hulks, but what else could he do with those blood samples if not make an army of some sort.
And the Leader creating a dangerous army is logical. Whether it's mutated animals or mutated humans.

But regurgitating the Abomination again is boring. Especially if the second Hulk movie comes after the Avengers. They'd really have to up ante and give the Hulk and the world a massive threat.

Abomination doesn`t need to be any stronger. In Incredible Hulk he was more powerful than hulk he simply got outmaneuvered because he relented his attack on hulk to try and kill ross. He doesn`t need to be any more powerful. Just have that the leader uses his intelligence to help abomination remain in dominance (distracting hulk at an opportune moment or making the environment disrupt hulk`s attack). Abomination doesn`t need more strength, he just need a clear head to add to his muscle. ie the leader.

Leader and some tech-based villains, maybe rock & redeemer, hammer and anvil, something.. not as interested in another gamma monster foe..

I definitely do not want the Hulk to be the 'villain' in an Avengers movie, I think that is dumb, I think it would be a mistake to make the first arc in Ultimates the main plot of the movie.. if the team has a skirmish with the Hulk in the film, fine, but he should be like, a tentative ally, with Banner's focus keeping him in moderate control until the end.. and have him talk!

I agree with you, Hypestyle. The Hulk shouldn't be the villain in the Avengers, but rather just unstable.
Much how they handled him in the Ultimates, just not as destructive. I think that's what they would do anyway. The Hulk is too iconic to turn into a villain.

When people say villain, I think they just mean have him be unstable. Have him attack the Avengers, as he doesn't know they're trying to help. This Hulk hasn't been let out too much, so he's still not too smart, and he's been attacked quite a lot, so he would think of them as being enemies.

Here it is.They were obviously waiting to see how the DVD did in sales before making a decision.
Obviously the DVD did well.

Hey that's a cool idea. They should mutate dogs.

God no, not poodles again...

In all seriousness though, what about a mutated tiger or something? It has to be a vicious animal that wouldn't look stupid being giant.

Or a mutated Grizzly. I'd love to see that.

Just mutate the cool animals, not the pansy ones.

A grizzly wouldn't look right at all.

A tiger...a lion...something cool like that.
