no IMAX for part 3?

I saw Spider-Man 2 at a regular theatre and it was really good... But after seeing it at the IMAX -- the most incredible movie experience of my life -- there was no going back. I saw it at the IMAX 11 times!!

They MUST show SM3 on an IMAX screen!

But don't get confused. Not all films shown at the IMAX are in 3-D. I could care less if it's in 3-D. I want to see it on that BIG screen.

I saw "Superman Returns" on IMAX about 24 hours ago... and let me tell you... the 3D stuff was mindblowing.

I hope Spider-Man 3 has at least a few 3D sequences for IMAX release.

most theaters have worked out a lighting system that tells you when to put your 3D glasses on.

They film some sequences with a special 3-D camera & then edit that footage into the regular movie, but with cgi sequences they can probably do all those 3-D scenes in the computer.

Spiderman 3 will 100% for sure be at IMAX. It will not however be given the 3d treatment when it's initially released. They'll probably do that later and release it for IMAX 3d later in the year or the following year.
