Wow for a minute there I thought the world was coming to an end.

OK, totally off topic, I know but, I've got to call you out on this SuperMike :woot: and tell you that your signatures are incorrect. The best Superman likeness of any actor in history IS Christopher Reeve and the best Superman likeness of any actor who actually had on the costume at any point in history IS Christopher Reeve!

In YOUR Opinion. :woot:

They both had similar looking faces. Reeves nose was more narrow, but they both had that straight "roman" nose thing going on.

This thread had me scared for all of five seconds.

Tomorrow's going to be fun.

Here is an image of Mr.Lupus in his prime. No, he is not the Rafiki looking guy in the front.

He is very old now, and a lot of the pics on the net are him over the age of 50.

The first time I ever heard of him was an interview with John Byrne talking about his likeness to Superman. :woot:

Because the more people agree with you the more right you are. :cwink:

LOL!!! That made my day :) it's all fun and good. I just had to get it out there it was eating me alive. Reeve is a hard figure to replace in terms of Superman. We definitely NEED the next actor for Superman to... And I say this with much regret and sadness but, remove the imprint Christopher Reeve left behind.

I think SuperMike's choices look more like Superman depictions from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Reeve, on the other hand, looks more like modern interpretations of the character from the 80s onward. With that stated, I also agree that Reeve best personified Superman. (Sorry Mike.)

Not a lot of folks look like Reeve. With his square jaw, [tall] height, very narrow straight nose, and thin lips, he was basically a brownish haired variation of a Nordic type.

That actually is a pretty good likeness for Superman based on the pic you just posted. The ones they have online are crappy as all hell though.
