He wouldn't be the first director to do this as Hitchcock, another British director who make a few movies himself, use to do it for all of his.

Also Nolan has good looks. Why not?

He doesn't seem the type.

though for some reason I imagine he'd play a good bartender or croupier in a fancier sort of vice den.

I could see it--maybe just a visual cameo as, say, a business exec in Wayne Enterprises or something.

Hmmm....not in a Batman movie. Stan Lee can pull it off, but Nolan shouldn't. Unless he gets killed in an awesome way that pertains to a plot point in his cameo, a random cameo would degrade his movie (i.e. HE'S TOO GOOD FOR THAT...thank God.)

I think.. think.. he has stated that he doesn't like cameos.

I don't remember where I read this; but I, somewhat, remember an article where he stated that amongst other things like he doesn't carry a cell phone, check emails, etc.

I could be way off; but if I am correct, I would think he is the type of guy who is a behind-the-scenes type.

Even still, it would be cool. Something like Alfred giving reference to a old English family he knows, the Nolan's.

M. Night and Spike Lee has also done effective cameos as well. Spike actually have played supporting roles.

Hitchcock was subtle about it. Nolan is no hitchcock.

This is about Bruce not the director. Leave himself out and he gains more respect. Write himself in and he looks like a noob. IMO

Any guy who doesn't own a mobile phone just doesn't seem likely to be interested in cameos, seems to me...

Paul Dini should do a cameo in TDK.. with his wife and their sockpuppet kids..
and i know what rolle his wife can play.... Zatanna :P

HAHA! GOD NO! his cameos are so bad, I wish he would stop doing them cause they are so unnecessary and pointless in the movies
OMG I know!!!

I busted out laughing at his gay-ass cameo in SM3. Everyone looked at me... but it was worth it.

Cameos ruin the experience . . . you're into the movie and then you see some dude who is totally out of character in the movie.

I respect Stan Lee, but everytime he is cameo'd, I want to kick the corresponding director in the gnuts.

Stan Lee's line in SP3 made no sense and just didnt fit in. You could they did it just to have a cameo. And y does he need a camero in ALL 3 Spidey movies?

He could be on the Wayne comission board or a person in the bank...

While we're on the subject of cameos. Maybe Peter Parker could make a cameo. I can picture it now, a nerdy boy riding his scooter down the dark streets of Gotham. Someone tries to smuggle him and Batman comes in and save him before he blows his identity.

Only Stan Lee's cameo was worth it on the eye candy Fantastic Silver Surfer.

As for Nolan, I dont see him doing it.

Nolan should be the vigilante.

Yeah, I said it.

Nolan is NOT Stan Lee - keep him out of cameo's.

God I hate that man. Burn in hell Lee, burn in hell :cmad::cmad::cmad::cmad::cmad:
