it looks like they filmed the school scenes two times.

first with hes orange shirt

then with the jacket

this could also be a deleted scene. maybe just a promo shot.
i think its in the tempel where sifu and roshi have a scene.

another proof that they filmed goku and piccolo fighting on the ground.

I HATE IT! I HATE IT! I HATE IT! Every picture I see, I hate it even more.

What have you done Fox. What have you done.

Wow, they live in such awesomely futuristic world that they drive around in silver Renualt Miganes. :woot: No way could this film have a budget of $100m

Is that Goku getting hit by a car?

Between this and trying to beat Goku with a bat, these bullies don't mess around.
well they couldnt get piccolo fight goku in hte first half of the movie. so he was not in danger enough.

the fight at the party was so insane. i mean the guys wanted to kill goku?
i say insane.

and you know whats the funny part? this movie is rated PG. which means that they want it for kids. there is not one scene where you clearly see full contact.
yet at the party they are showing kids trying to kill goku.

amazing.

It's almost like dubbing an anime so that saws that would normally lob your feet off at the ankles will instead slice into your mind and you will eternally suffer in a realm of pure darkness and evil... except they actually play fair.

All of these pictures of scenes which are missing reaallly make me wonder just what FOX was doing with this movie. Seriously..

You got to remember that the final battle had reshoots so some scenes which we saw before may have been deleted for the reshoots.

those shots could still fit in the fight that is in the movie.

i think the reshoots were for oozaru. he is the only thing that is different.
they had to film when he is jumping through the wall. plus oozaru holding rosshi. and the close ups.
everything else IMO was done with CGI.

God, the extra 20 minutes better save this movie. Like a 15 minute long final battle or something.

What James Marsters wants in the sequel:
Marsters: I'd like to follow the original story. We'd pick up seven years after this story. Goku is fully a man. He has a son who is 7 years old, named Gohan, and Piccolo has transformed himself into a younger figure who's trying to take over the Earth. While he's doing that, these three other Saiyans show up—Raditz is the prime one—and in battle they kill Goku. Like in a lot of these stories, dying is not the end, but Goku leaves his son as the only Saiyan on Earth that can protect the planet. And he has one year to train. This is the first scene I saw of Dragon Ball, when I watched the show with my 7-year-old son. So little Gohan searches out Piccolo, because I'm the only super-creature on Earth that can train him to save Earth in a year. So it's kind of complex. I'm not necessarily good. I'm after my own plan. But, after I beat the hell out of Gohan, I agree to train him.

Also from IGN more talks of Sequels (James Marsters and Justin Chatwin promising more from the original Dragonball mythos :whatever:).

James Marsters:

I hope [the movie does well] because my character only really gets interesting in the second film, I mean he's interesting now! But his journey is really developed in the script for the second movie."

He went on: "All I know is I've been signed to three movies, but I would like to make five -- seven of them. You could just pretty much paint by numbers using the wealth of source material to easily get the seven films. There's that much there

Justin Chatwin

There's a whole generation of kids waiting to be introduced to Dragonball, so this first movie is really important for that. I mean the main plot is the battle between Piccolo and Goku, but this first film still serves to introduce the characters and where they're from and what they're deals are. And so to cover that ground really takes up most of the first movie."

He goes on: "I know what they have in store for the second one and it's really cool! It's more in the vein of the Dragonball saga... it goes into other places, there's other characters, other fighters and there's a lot of action that is just really awesome.

"It actually goes more into Dragon Ball Z land and it's just really exciting. It goes into the whole legend of Dragonball. I cant really say more than that, but it made me think this is a cool franchise to be a part off because there's so much we haven't shown yet.

Someone is highly optimistic. Another 7 crap DB movies by FOX? No thank you.

fool me once shame on you......fool me twice.........and and you wont fool me again :oldrazz:

Oh god. Just hearing all that tripe from the actors made me want this film to tank even more. As if they didn't falsely adverse this film enough. Now they're already working feeding us lies about the sequels.

He is the only one with any real understanding of the universe at least he has a plan.

If the American cut of the movie is longer, and the feedback for the (hypothetical) changes is positive, I might give this movie a chance. However, given the almost unanimous bashing the pirated version of the movie has gotten, I have a very hard time imagining that. I still refuse to lower myself to watching a stolen copy online though. I'll either see it legitimately, or not at all.

both chatwin and masters were promised something or they are lying.

Masters was talking about piccolo and hes age. chatwin talked how goku always watns to fight and bla bla bla.

why in gods name is goku flying to piccolo between the kamehameha? why is he calling ''dragonnnnnnnn''. why not shenlong?
