in the East you dont NEED a PF... just a good swing and a good big... you got those.. you will be okay... Howard is a Beast... i just might jumo on the Magic bandwagon... hey i could say I have always been a Magic(johnson) fan??? NO??? .. well I tried :csad:

thing about shard is he's a Number 2... meaning he NEEDS another star on the team to flourish... will fit in quite well with Howard all the while letting the Beast Grow.. nice signing Ben.. you should be proud :yay:

on the other side of the Map ..

Lakers Suck A$$!:cmad: :csad:

Damn, Billups' agent denies a "vicious rumor" that he signed a 5 yr/$60 million deal with Detroit.

Not looking good :csad:

12M. Is that around the range that Chauncey wants?

Ouch. I don't know what the Pistons cap number looks like (and I'm too lazy to go check), but they better save some money for Rip next year.

Magic Withdraw Offer to Milicic

Apparently, Otis is going to let Milicic go for nothing, despite the fact that other GMs have called to ask about a trade. I don't get it.

Everything goes in cycles. :o

****, they were reporting that signing on SI just a few hours ago.
B-b-b-bye Billups?
Sorry. I couldn't contain myself. :woot:

Carlesimo?

Oh, and Darko's prima-donna agent now says his client won't play for the Magic as long as Otis is the general manager. :whatever: Best of luck in Milwaukee. :down

Smush might want to start looking for condos elsewhere:

J-Crit took his number. :huh::o

Associated Press is confirming the signing.

I'm leaning towards it being a done deal.

How about Anderson Varejao? Apparently, an unnamed team is offering a deal that may be worth as much as $8 million a year.:wow:

Do the Cavs match it? Or do they let him go?

I don't want him back on our team.

It appears you are looking for a new team to jump on. How about Riding the Bull?:ninja:

I was hoping the Cavs could get Gerald Wallace. I'm not a big fan of Varejao.

Rashard Lewis went to Orlando? Nice. Dwight Howard, Grant Hill, and Rashard Lewis can offer some much needed offensive power. Rashard was a much needed outside shooter. He can step out to hit the three and is very athletic as well.

Nice pick up for Orlando.

Good luck clearing cap space for that.
I  Gerald Wallace

I just hope Grant sticks around... apparently, he was in Phoenix today and some league insiders have speculated for the past week that he's dead-set on joining the Suns. If that's the case, our starting lineup this fall would be
  1. Jameer Nelson
  2. J.J. Redick
  3. Rashard Lewis
  4. Tony Battie
  5. Dwight Howard
Not bad.
I wonder what this all means for Hedo Turkoglu, though. Lewis is the starting three and Trevor Ariza is the backup Otis Smith has said is untouchable in a trade.
Free Hedo.

Can he play shooting guard?
If so he should play back up to Jay Jay the Jet Plane (thats me!).

I'd keep Hedo though. He's a good player even though he's fairly inconsistent. But I'd hate for you guys to lose him and he goes to another team that would make him play better.
