damn if that goes down, Suns 2008 Champions!

Yeah I believe he was an All Star before he played with Nash.

yea but Marion always had a great pg to play with! Nash, Kidd, and Marbury! He wont have that in ATL but I still think its a good trade atl depending on which young players they keep.

Chad Ford was just on SportsCenter talking about KG. Apparently, Phoenix is higher on his wish list than L.A. is, and the Suns are trying to put a deal together. Because Kevin McHale is an idiot, he doesn't want Amare Stoudemire; he wants cap relief. :whatever: So Ford was saying the Hawks could be involved.
  • Kevin Garnett to the Suns
  • Shawn Marion to the Hawks
  • Young guys, expiring contracts, and assorted riffraff to the T-Wolves
Yeah, the Hawks really need another athletic-as-**** forward.
But yeah, if that happens, the Magic are ****ed. Playing against Marion four times a year?! **** that. :down

WOW! Talk about Votlron.:wow:

Stoudemire, Garnett, and Nash = :wow::up:

I mean, you've got two Hall of Famers right there, and a current top-5 center who's only 24 or so. Then you have Barbosa coming off the bench. What the ****. Seriously.

No kidding! Some one should step in, & stop this!

PAXSON ACTIVATED!

I said PAXSON ACTIVATED!

GODMAMN YOU PAXSON!!!:cmad:

John Hollinger wrote a free article for ESPN Insider that basically says Kevin Durant is, by far, the best college player to enter the draft in the past five years. I love metrics.

I thought the whole reason he didn't pull the trigger on the Gasol deal in February was because he was going to pull out all the stops trying to get Garnett this summer. But he's staying quiet so far.

Yeah, I don't know. I think Patent may be right in that Paxson has become to comfy. I don't want Kobe, but something has to happen. Maybe he is hoping he can get this Juan guy. He looks good.

There is only one thing left to do: Plan B.

KRAUS ACTIVATED!!

One would have to be in order to nuke that Bulls team he had.

Talks with the Lakers have stopped for now. Current deal:
  • Kevin Garnett to the Suns
  • Shawn Marion to the Celtics
  • The #5 draft pick, assorted riffraff to the Timberwolves

Boston will only make the deal if Marion agrees to sign an extension with them. If he okays that, the deal could be finished.

This would be interesting because we'd see
  • Kevin Garnett joining Amare Stoudemire in the Suns' dunkfest of an offense. Seriously, how would Garnett not shoot above .700 on this team? :hyper:
  • Shawn Marion joining Al Jefferson in Boston's frontcourt, finally giving Paul Pierce actual TEAMMATES for once in his career. ****, didn't Pierce make the East finals with Antoine Walker and Walter McCarty as his best teammates?:wow: Sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiit.
  • The Timberwolves getting expiring contracts to make a play in free agency next summer, when Gilbert Arenas, Elton Brand, Jermaine O'Neal, and others may be available if they opt out of their deals. This IN ADDITION TO whomever they draft with the 5th and 7th picks.

****in' a.

Also, it's not mentioned in that article, but I figure I'd bring it up: the only Spurs players with contracts for the 2008/2009 season are Duncan (once he re-signs next summer; he won't opt out, although he could if he wanted), Parker, and Ginobili. That's it. They'll have enough room to sign a big kahuna if they wanted to. :wow::csad:

Why don't the Bulls slide into where the Celtics are, & at least get Marion? I don't get it! I just don't get it!

At this point, I don't give two ****s who it is, just get him.

Haven't even heard of him to be honest. Breaking news on ESPNEWS!!!!
Wait for it

wait for it

Garnett to LA trade dead.

Wow I can totally see them go after someone like Brand!

Are the Timberwolves dumb enough to send Garnett to the Suns? He is still under contract with them right? Why would they send him to team that is in their division?

Out of respect for him. Garnett, unlike Kobe, has never publicly demanded a trade. He's played in Minnesota for 12 years, and the T-Wolves appreciate his dedication and professionalism. They won't trade him anywhere without his say-so, even though he technically doesn't have a no-trade clause.

Since we NOT getting Garnett now..

we NEED to trade the Virus .. errr Mamba:cmad:

start over fresh....

i'd be happy with a Warrioresque team... at least it will be a TEAM!:cmad:

apocs on ALL you Laker haters.. y'all will never HAVE 14 rings...:word:
