They're an extensive team with lots of members now, but there's still a family vibe because half of the team is either related by blood or was adopted into the family.

So who are all the members of the FF now then?

well besides Reed, Sue, Ben, and Spidey it looks like Franklin, Val, Alex from the Power Pack and a bunch of kids and aliens theyve adopted(?) over the years. i dont follow the team but i picked up the last issues of Fantastic Four and the first issue of FF.

Reed, Sue, Ben, Peter Parker, Franklin, Val, Alex Power, Artie, Leech, they've adopted the Wizard's pre-teen clone Bentley, Reed's time-traveling dad Nathaniel, a small family of Mole-people, Dragon Man, and Dr. Doom.

They changed their name to Future Foundation, so they're allowed to have as many members as they want.

So how is this book structured? Each story features a random teamup of the various members? Does that actually work better than the traditional lineup?

They haven't done too much since the book launched, but most of the action seems to be handled by combinations of Reed, Sue, Ben, Spidey, and Alex.

Alex Power from Power Pack? Ugh, why is he still a kid? Those kids were aged. Julie was in the Loners group and she was in her late teens and retired. Alex was older than her so I figured he'd be about 19-21 by now but he looks about 12-13

Well I wasnt even referring to that cover. I was looking at images and saw this. He looks like a kid as drawn by the series artist, Epting

He's definitely the young superhero protege of the group, but he's a lot older than Franklin and his 7-10 age range.

When Johnny died, Reed restructured the team. The Future Foundation is more of an association of gifted minds than a traditional superhero team. Their goal is to pursue new boundaries in SCIENCE! and all that good stuff, in addition to helping people like usual.

I don't think they ever explained what the new symbol on their chests mean, but only the three remaining Fan4 members have them.
