bio-sentinels sound cool..but uh...arent there already prime AND omega sentinels? or do they just need some giant skin wearing ones too? the brood have always been lame to me

I like the idea of Brood mixing with bio-sentinels, probably because bugs are one of the things I'm afraid of the most in the world.

Does Cyclops know that his dad died? And does he know or care that Alex is somewhere in space?

Scott knew Corsiar was dead, that was mentioned in Legacy once at least.

As for Alex...well he broke the rank, and generally anyone who breaks rank means he/she won't get back-up help.

Does Scott know about his dad? Yes. Does he care that Alex is lost in space? No. Colossus flat out called him out on him abandoning his brother and all he did was stand there and got angry. Didnt change anything though as he hasnt expressed any concern from before or since. He hasnt tried to contact him. Heck he doesnt even know if he is still alive

They always have a dysfunctional relationship, like a large number of modern people.

At this point, I find it utterly ridiculous that none of the X-men have mentioned wanting to retrieve Alex, Rachel and Lorna. I could kinda understand in the beginning bc their resources were limited and alot was going on, but now? How hard would it be for Beast to make a personal request from his girlfriend in S.W.OR.D. to track them down and then use Illyana, the most effective teleporter in the Marvel Universe to go to where they are and bring them back or at least see how things are with them? Seems like a no brainer to me.

because they are treating them like the bastard stepchildren that they are...kitty too...except i don't mind her being gone at all. rachel can also fall into a sun, here's hoping she doesn't eat it. but Havok and Polaris are awesome and need to be back in the fold...Let's see Alex use all that pent up anger and frustration at NOT being able to beat Vulcan and unleash it all on Scott...who isn't an Omega and could use a beat down.

I agree that Alex needs to be back big time. I like the direction the X-Men are going at the moment (though I do question the whole repeating Asteroid M/Genosha thing - cos neither of those were exactly untouchable even when Magneto was in charge). But I would like to see Alex return after having been in more of a leadership role and not anywhere near Scott's shadow (unlike running his own unit under Scott or being the Scot of X-Factor), and see if he tries to shout some 'sense' into his brother

Then Alex is a true loser for blaming his failure on other people, Scott does not need to threw the word Omega and his temper around to be awesome.

at leat they've talked about trying to get Kitty back. Not so much the other ones

not sure how you gleemed that from my comments, but ok.

Alex CAN take Scott. There is no doubt in my mind that he can. Scott has been a bit dick-ish lately, so he could use a nice ass-kicking and If i were lost in space, I'd certainly expect my own family to show a bit of concern for me and at least try and mount a rescue..except Alex isnt exactly lost in space anymore..he is with the Inhumans and the Kree..surely if he wanted to come back they would help him do so..

Well, if Alex insisted charging head-first into the space to fight the enemy, he shouldn't complain to his brother for not saving his ass, he's not a toddler, he's a grown man, and Scott's prority is not babysitting his family members, let alone being at the receiving end of his anger at failing defeat Vulcan.

I have no problem with the theory that Havok is more powerful, power has never been my consideration in picking my favorites, Scott is more interesting because he uses brain, and Alex is always a more muscle type. The typical type. Besides, their powers don't affect each other.

Though I wouldn't mind them having some fist-fighting ,siblings need to fight to get close.

their powers dont effect each other to an extent. if they really wanted to hurt each other, they could.

and Alex's reasoning for remaining in space are his alone. He has the capabilities now to get himself home...but he hasn't (or the editors just don't know what to do with him) Lorna is his faithful woman, so she goes wherever he does and Rachel is all infatuated with Corvis so, she doesn't want to leave him.....ugh, romance

I've never known that, but if one uses a kind of force enough to really hurt their sibling, then one can hardly claim they're doing it out of love and care.

It's like even if I care for my brother, I won't smash a chair on his head to make a point, and vice versa.

Then why should Scott's reasoning be everyone else's, and since Alex thinks he doesn't want to be taught to do everything by his brother, he should do things and pay the consquences on his own.

I love my brother, but if he doesn't want to come home, that's his problem, I'm not going to come and drag him home, he's not a baby. Unless he asks.

i am not arguing with you nor do i even really disagree with you.

I'm not arguing with you, either, just pointing out the facts.

fact is this..even though Alex is a grown man and makes his own choices that he then in turn has to deal with; Scott, as his brother, SHOULD show just the tiniest ounce of concern, like in his downtime, when he is in bed with Emma.

He did express some degree of feelings to Xavier regarding the issue, but with each writer going on with his own writing, they probably leave off the personal life of his, seeing that they had to make a Confession to sort his and Emma's issue (though not entirely).
