Yeah, the character pretty much sums up the blandness that is Lobdell's TT.

In other news, Tec Zero issue comes out this week, and personally I'm expecting big things, if only because it features Tony Daniel artwork and Hurwitz written script, that sounds like a winning combo to me!

so the #0 issues are released this month finally.

This may be sacrilege but by the end of Batman & Robin #16 I wasn't enjoying Irving anymore. :o

I'm not a huge fan of Irving in general.

He's good, but he's VERY kitsch. Like, there's only one small group of characters and stories that really work with his style.

I wish Andy Clarke was on Batman for forever, though.

I will admit there were..moments where his work was a little iffy (Joker's head when Batman socks him being the worst) but I think largely it was because he had to rush as well.

Andy Clarke, now there was an artist who knew what he was doing (aside from Talia..bleh)

You'd think he would have got more Batman work after B&R

I don't know why he isn't considered a big name. His Aquaman and REBELS stuff was great too.

I LOVE Irving's work. But I understand why one would think his style is only fitting a particular kind of stories.

I was hoping Damien would have larger brawls with all the Robins.

Yeah, that was a good fight - Just wanted the story to extent. I need to read the issues where Batman died because I'd like to read some issues involving all the Robins hanging about with each other.

They don't really hang out all together that much. Mainly because Tim was wandering around the world to find proofs Bruce was still alive. And Jason was more an antagonist in Batman and Robin.

I have one question. I would be grateful to those nice enough to enlighten me: could you tell me what stories are featured in the "private casebook" TPB from Dini please?

Basically the first half of Dini's run with artist Dustin Nguyen (Detective Comics #840-845), plus a short story featuring Zatanna by both of them:

- The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul: Epilogue
- The Wonderland Gang!
- The Suit of Sorrows (Written by Peter Milligan)
- Opening Night
- Curtains
- The Riddle Unanswered
- Kcirt Ro Taert (Short Story)

Excellent book with simple, classic Batman stories.

And the only reason Mysti cares is because he's gay.

Gay and fun to read about yep

He adds much needed fun to a book that would otherwise be ridiculously depressing and angsty

Especially Tim Drake

Tim Drake has become the anti-fun :csad:

They should bring the Wonderland Gang back and have the White Rabbit join it

I can't remember the last time I like Tim.

Friggin I just read The Black Mirror, would it be bad to say that I like Dick as Batman more than Bruce? That story was ****ing epic!

Thanks for the answer. I own a part of his run on tec, but not everything, so that could be interesting.
