Trust me, he'll have way more trouble in the Chi now than when Capone was running around.

Eh, writers constantly move Dick around and act like it's something new. After Gotham, Bludhaven and New York, Chicago just feels like this writer trying to leave his mark. Which I'm betting won't last.

Jae plagiarizes? Haven't heard anything about that.

I don't like him on interiors, though. He's fine for covers, but I don't think I've ever seen him draw a character smiling. His art is so moody. Him drawing a character like Superman just doesn't work for me.
Dammit. I got him confused with Pat Lee.

Cool, we have Batman/Superman. Next is Red Robin and The Brave and the Bold.

I miss Bludhaven so much...

NY was a joke, but Nightwing's title was a joke before and during that visit.

So I just sat and reread Batman's Death of the Family in one sitting. I can safely say that I like it but that it definately felt like it was just a partial story due to his targeting the family taking place in other titles. The ending left a lot to be desired, as many have said, and I'm hoping there will be a follow up story to this or it'll bend up being a well-thought out but crappily crafted dud. It was hurt by making it a crossover event, which it wasn't strong enough for, but it wasn't bad overall.

I liked it, not as much as the Court of Owls stuff, but it was good... just not great. On to the next thing.

Birds of Prey was pretty neat this week I'm going to miss Duane on the book but i think Christy Marx will be good :)

And in Batwoman I'm wondering if
Bones is really Kate and Alice's brother or if he's lying to Alice about that

Dammit. I got him confused with Pat Lee.

Histories greatest monster :ninja:

Oberon Sexton said:
Isn't he really just Sebastian from little mermaid?

He's seen the error of his ways

From now on, less helping evil snake haired women, more musical numbers

Still Nughtwing vs Capone could be fab

Especially if it was in the present day and he was fighting zombie robot Al Capone :awesome:

I think Bones is who he says he is.

Also.....I just listened to Grant Morrison compare the idea of Batman to the idea of God and Jesus. I feel complete as a human being.

I have really enjoyed Scott Snyder's Batman run, but I feel like I am going to get burnt out really soon on how dark/moody the series is. I feel like I could really go for some "superhero" Batman, but I wasn't a fan of Batman, Inc when it first started, and that is about to end, anyway. What to do?

Batman Inc has been awesome since it restarted. Much better than the first volume (IMO it was hurt by the delays). Read that.

Volume 1 was really a setup. It was fun imo, but there is no denying that it was mostly some kind of filler. Volume 2 is the real deal though. It's as great as Morrison's Batman & Robin.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far, but it's decent. I think Morrison peaked with Batman & Robin.

Batman Incorporated has been better in volume 2 for the increased focus, I think. The worldwide team is in place and we finally have open conflict with Leviathan. Less room for Morrison to meander, as he's so fond of doing.

I'm planning on rereading all of Incorporated to see if I'd like it more in one sitting (or two). I did that with Morrison's whole run, including Final Crisis, and it made me have a great appreciation for it, but I stopped two issues into Incorporated and never got back to it. I really should because I've sorta stopped remembering what's happening at the moment. Example... I don't recall who the bug eyed guy with the hat was. I remember he was important but I remember nothing about him. There was a reference to him in the newest Inc issue and I didn't get it because I don't remember the guy.

That's why longrunning, mind scratching, plots bore me. I seldom remember what happens from one issue to the next. It takes me reading the new issue to vaguely recall what happened in the previous one. If I have to remember something that happened a year or two ago... I'm lost.

I kinda preferred the small arcs/transitioning focus of the first volume of Inc.

Not that Vol. 2's bad. It might be better. But for different reasons.

I think I made it about 4 issues into the first volume before calling it quits.

I liked the first two issues and a later one with the Indian guy, forget his name. So that's not even close to a majority.

For the first volume of Inc, I can only really think of two standout issues: #6 and Leviathan Strikes!. The rest were good, I mean, Grant Morrison hasn't churned out a single bad issue, but they were definitely his weakest issues.

This second volume feels like the true successor to Batman & Robin and is equally good.

I don't recall that scene. All I remember is him saying is that Alice has her sister's eyes. And if that scene did occur, he's lying. Batwoman and her sister are portrayed as incredibly pale women. Director Bones on the other hand, is black.

Who hear read redhood #17? Was a good issue, liked it better than some DOF crossovers during the event.

yea i really liked it, especially jason's conversation with bruce
the cover was great too

He said, "You have OUR sister's eyes."

And I think he's bogus, but we'll see.
