I liked her I thought she seemed like a neat character in issue 12 and I'd like to see more of her :)

I agree. I think her existence enriches the tapestry of Gotham and gives us a different perspective on Batman and how he's viewed by the public. And I love her relationship with her brother.

i like harper because she is like me she is not a conformist and she is not afraid to be herself

^I'm not at all sure if that was sarcasm. I hope it was.

Anyways...

"Now you know me." :ninja:

So did any of you guys nab Batman Incorporated #8 yet?

Just read this review of it and can't wait to buy mine on lunch break during work. (WARNING: SPOILERS)

I have to admit that I didn't like the concept of Damian's character at first; however, the fact that he was a foil to so many members of the Bat-family and the dynamic he shared with them as well as many of Bat-villains was very well done in retrospect.

I'm just wondering what's going to happen with the Heretic. Seems like a good contender for the next Bane.

you know what kinda sucks? the Sterling Gates pre-Nu52 Supergirl wont get to mourn because she doesn't exist anymore :(

RIP the best Robin ever. Batman Inc was really good, but given Damian's death I'm not sure how to feel about it. I just don't know what will happen from here on in. And Damian's death is very, very conclusive, with a huge sense of finality and makes it very clear he is dead.

He is beaten by the Heretic, suffered the "back-breaker", hit by a barrage of arrows and bullets, thrown through a wall and stabbed through the heart with a broadsword. Bruce then holds Damian's body.

Holy...

RIP Damien... you've been an amazing read. Went out like a boss, too.

Loved him and Dick getting one last hooray.

Sad to see Damien go he was one of my favourite Robins.

Hope Bruce goes nuts and kicks some serious ass after this

Maybe he'll be very sad and realize he has nothing left, so he'll retire for 7 years?
:oldrazz:

That actually happened? ****. What a way to go. Obama's America.

Incorporated #1 (vol. 2) had Gordon show up at the mysterious two graves and place Bruce under arrest. I'm thinking that, after this, Bruce loses his cool and kills Heretic. Bruce doesn't kill... but under this circumstance I can see it happening. One grave for Damian, one for Heretic.

What will determine something substantial or not will be the thought of;

Will Gotham City know "Damien Wayne" died, or just another Robin?

That will make the difference if Bruce is arrested for his son's apparent demise or if Bruce is arrested for his association to Batman Inc and their members deaths (Knight, Robin, etc.) at Wayne Tower/Gotham City.

I'll be disappointed if Knight is buried alongside Damien. Damien deserves to be in the Wayne cemetery, with his grandparents.

BTW, DOTF is even more unnecessary since it obviously takes place before these last few INC issues and the family has no issue with Bruce and are willing to fight for Gotham for him.

I can't remember if Morrison or Tomasi mentioned it, but they mentioned Damian being buried alongside Thomas and Martha.

I'm 100% sure that even if they were mad at Bruce, the others would still help Bruce and Gotham if they were in trouble.

I know, but the whole end of DOTF was barely substantial. How could they be mad at him for what the Joker said. It's like middle school drama...

I think that Morrison just operates in his own little world, continuity be damned. Didn't he directly reference his JLA run in the first issue or so of the New52's Inc.?

NEW 52 continuity doesn't work for me either. I'm with Morrison, per-say. As streamlined as possible, even though I have many single issues between these arcs and others like Brubaker's Batman run, Rucka's ec Run, Gotham Central, Dini's Tec run, Batwoman, etc...

Roughly 15+ years have happened since YO.

YO

+5 years
TLH > DV > R:YO > BGirl:YO > NW:YO > Batman 408/400 > KJ > DITF > APOD > (Talia & Bruce create Damien)

+5 years
KnightFall/Quest/End > Prodigal > Contagion > Legacy > Cataclysm > NML

+5 years

Officer Down > Murderer?/Fugitive > Hush > Resurrection Of Ra's > BlackGlove/RIP > Batman & Robin/Black Mirror > Batman Inc Vol 1

+1/2 years
Owls/DOTF > Batman Inc Vol 2.

No way Snyder/Morrison and co. can make hints and nods to the past without all of this happening. And this is by far the tightest one can make it. Oh, and Tim was Robin... don't care what DC says, idiots. Bruce, Dick, and Tim can all pass for mid thirties, early thirties, and mid twenties respectably. If Johnny Depp, Chris Rock, and others look 25-35 while being 45-50, without the amazing skills and talents of the Bat Family, then Bruce and Co. can be "older" while looking very young.

So what about the whole Batman 666 thing?

It's been a while since I read Morrison's work.
