Is Batman & Robin Eternal going to continue from Batman Eternal, or is it going to be a prequel storyline, considering the promo art for it is of Grayson Robin, and the fact that the current crop of Bat titles is not with Bruce?

I definitely want to check out Robin War though, sounds like fun.

Is it me, or did after TDKR film, seems like everyone's doing their own Batman-fakes-death-to-retire-cowl story to see if they can top the film's kinda mediocre way of telling that story. First Arkham Knight's ending, then this. I don't know if I like this general direction. Everyone's trying to make Bruce quit.

I would put it more down to the fact that both the Arkham games and the new 52(there are/were rumours that Snyders going to be finished with Batman soon also) were coming to an end that they both decided to go down that route rather than it having anything to do with the film.

Well, the three main protagonists are Dick (his comeback party in story), Cassandra Cain (her comeback party in a meta sense), and Harper Rowe (her "we introduced this character, we'd better keep using her" storyline). The latter two seem to guarantee a modern focus, but you're right about the cover seeming to suggest some flashbacks. I'm personally hoping that we're dealing with a reopened cold case that tied into all the Robins' careers. That'd be a great way to tie into the anniversary of the identity, and it would give them plenty of material to work with that wouldn't just be filler, which was one of Eternal's problems.

And I'm hoping that somewhere in this weekly and crossover business, the Bat office has received permission to take over Tim Drake's custody and retcon his past. The last two volumes of Teen Titans have done nothing good for the character, the "never Robin, always Red Robin" idea still sucks, and he needs a new direction that will actually differentiate him from Dick, since the New 52 version is basically a poorly written substitute of Nightwing with an un-earned arrogance problem. It's kind of like Lobdell took the aspects that were flaws in the Pre Flashpoint solo, and wanted to somehow make them intrinsic core characterizations.

Just finished Earth One Vol 2 last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was as good as volume one, in my opinion and cleverly introduced us to Two Face and Riddler. Great story and great art work. Anyone know if they're planning on a volume three?

Bruce's status for BRE appears to be that he's absent. Also, the story does seem to have some flashbacks to at least Dick's days in the suit:
