It's a different dynamic. Jason was a street kid. Damian is Bruce's actual son. I'm curious to see how this goes, simply because of how short-lived it was initially in Batman & Son.

Anyways, I'm digging the cover to Batman #2, and so far, I've enjoyed both Tony Daniel covers for Detective. I hope Daniel's writing has stepped up though.

Probably still gonna skip Batwing, though Red Hood & The Outlaws has intrigued me. Otherwise, all the Bat-titles I wanted to buy initially all sound worth buying still.

Batwoman issue two sounds amazing I just cannot wait to see Kate's new adventures. This new villain sounds really creepy and I am really interested to find out who her new love interest is

Batwing sounds pretty interesting though I'm worried that this new villain is going to just be a way to kill off b list superheroes. I like a lot of those lesser known characters

Cannot wait to see how Simone writes Barbara as Batgirl

And Catwoman and Batman both sound like their going to be pretty good to

It sounds like they're rewinding the Batman/Catwoman relationship a little. I hope that doesn't mean Selina no longer knows Bruce's identity; that would suck.

I think Morrison found the butterzone for the relationship; with Batman and Catwoman being allies, but Catwoman still looking for her own, uh, "opportunities" on the side.

Agreed I really enjoyed how he wrote both of them in Batman Inc I really enjoyed that team up

I'd like to point out that on the Batman #2 cover, Batman is punching a jerk out of helicopter while leaping off an airborne motorcycle. I don't know how that motorcycle got up there, and I don't care: it is awesome.

And then teaming up with them to fight a Sharktopus

Also clearly Batman is using his gravity repellant bat spray on that cover so his motorbike can fly. And if that's not the actual explanation I shall honestly be a little bit dissapointed

Well, after getting his ass kicked so many times, Two Face has been taking steroids working out to kick Batman's ass. Or something to do with Venom.

That cover really makes me feel like Todd's become a caricature of what he started as back in his return for Under the Hood. Like, he's teetering back and forth between good and evil in all his subsequent appearances, yet those always end with his "new" ideological status being ambiguously anti-heroic, only to shift again for his next appearance. Can he actually pick a side and be interesting again? And don't say "no because he's Jason Todd".
