Awww, That makes it a disappointing scene. A joke without a punchline.

I think the look on Logan's face serves as a pretty good punch line. The following scene is Logan in the jet trying to fit the collar and the "yellow spendex" bit - that could work if they didn't cut the ready room scene.

Edit: The scene also works good with another cut scene where Scott talks to the professor saying Logan won't take his orders and the professor say 'try give him orders worth following'.

I think that leaving those sences in the movie would've established Cyke as the leader (it was never said out loud- a friend of mine who knows only the movies didn't understand he was the field leader) and maybe change his fate in x-2 and x-3.

I understand. Logan does start to make a face, just that they didn't hold the camera on him long enough I thought. :)

Absolutely! Each of these scenes helps and gives the chars that necessary boost. Especially now since we're so starved for material and footage.
 
That Scott vid is cool i love the song i use to have it i want it again!! lol.

Probably a pacing thing... it would have slowed down the "let's move now!!!" sort of moment before they left for New York.

Plus it wouldn't have made sense since Logan's costume ends up having yellow stripes -- and why would Cyclops have a suit with yellow stripes when all the rest of his are blue?

by the sound of his voice...I can kinda tell he was just joking..perhaps? lol. :p I like it when he jokes around... hehe especially when he says "What would you rather wear? Yellow spandex?" lol :p
 
I wonder what it would look like if Wolvie DID have that yellow (or orange?) and black mask. I'm happy they didn't do the mask on Cyke...it would look too Spiderman-ish. Plus, I like Jimmy's set of hair. Esp. in X2. :)
 
Probably the only superheroes on screen who look good with a mask are Spiderman and Batman....can't think of them without one
