i'm opposed to both killing Cyclops and how they might do it. if the AICN script is to be believed. Cyclops hasn't had a big enough role for us to care enough as to whether he dies or not. at least make us care before you kill him. but it looks like they might not kill him.

im not. most of you who read it immediatly thaught that one of the "obvious ones" to be killed would be cyke but then it turns out that it is supposedly those three people not cyke.

Look, hon -- I'm not jumping to conclusions. When I hear the same rumor from multiple sources -- many of which are frequently in conflict with one another -- then I pay attention.

NEVER trust one source for things like this. Remember, any source is only as good as ITS sources.

Don't believe everything you read. Don't believe everything you're told. Pay attention to silences (what ISN'T said is often as important as what is). Pay attention to what people DO, not just what they say. Be critical and ask shrewd questions. Be able to connect divergent information. Learn the difference between possibly, maybe, probably, and probably not.

I wish people would leave this Cyclops thing alone (for now)...It's really bothering me how much confidence people are putting in this thing..

Ask someone here what happens to Cyclops in X3 and they'll tell you he dies.
Ask that same person again what happens to Rogue at the end of the movie and they're clueless.

Err how does that make sense? You say not to trust these rumors about Cyclops death(which is the majority of rumors contain), and dissuading folk from trusting rumors with so much confidence. And Minisinoo is doing just that(high confidence in Cykes death based off all the rumors), and then you say she speaks the truth. How can you support both opposing view points? [Ions is baffled]
Not that I disagree with Minisinoo or making some attack. Just saying observing how you seem to be contradicting yourself there.. [Ions wonders]

minisinoo thats what i said. i pretty much take most news right now involving the script with a grain of salt considering there is no solid script yet. But mainy people here are just convinved that he will die when we know that scripts do go through changes, sometimes very large ones. Plus when the draft was leaked there was a huge uproar about killing cyke so i think its possible that his part was changed. Just wait till we get solid script news which probally wont happen for a couple of months. I want Cyclops to survive in X3!

I'm just reiterating that they're all still RUMORS. There are just as many rumors about Cyclops dying in X3 as there were Jean going blind in X2..
