So apparently another very poor PC port. Not just the FPS and resolution, but stuff like the subtitles and sensitivity are even bugged. It is even causing nausea.
Can't seem to find any other studio connected beside Arkane. If I get it, I am getting it for the PS4, so the PC problems aren't a worry for me. There being a 9 gb patch is a bit of a worry though.Damn. Was the port done by a third party studio?
The console version had a 9 gb day one patch. I played without the patch and didnt have any glitches but I only played a small amount.

You play on PC man?God. Dammit.
I get the annoyance with the Master Race fools, but this bothers me a lot. Especially with the way pre-orders work. Feels like a lot more good people get screwed here, as opposed to the idiots.I have to admit some schadenfreude. The PC "master race" *****es getting multiple bad ports is more than a little funny. Sucks for the average pc gamer tho. Game studios do need to either stop with ports or learn to get it right.

And this comes again with their new BS review copy policy.
It just looks really bad, and makes Bethesda's managers look clueless. Like they arent making decisions based on whats in development or with any common sense. They announce a new terrible review policy when theyve got a broken PC Port about to be released? Talk about a **** up.
It's super annoying in this case because Arkane and Bethesda are traditionally PC developers. Skyrim, Dishonored, and Wolfenstein: The New Order were developed on and great for PC. This is also a pain because PC ports were supposed to become easier this generation due to architectural similarity between PCs and consoles. Both the Xbox One and PS4 are essentially standard spec gaming PCs in special cases. I just hope these are some fixable issues relating to lack of polish. I really don't want another Arkham Knight situation, where a game is permanently broken on PC.You play on PC man?

No doubt. Id much rather it not happen at all.
As for the review policy, Bethesda ****ed up there. They saw the success of Doom and thought they could get away with no early reviews on all future games. So they made it the policy and I assume Skyrim sells were good. They were probably thinking they had their **** under control and the fans would just get over it and move on. And then comes along Dishonored 2 and the PC Port is broken.
You have to admit that its pretty funny that the first game they release, after announcing the new review policy, has a broken PC Port. There was already hate against that review policy and this is just going to fuel that hate like jet fuel being dumped on a forest fire.

My brother mentioned this. He was shocked when I told him about this problem, because as you said, they have a legacy on the PC. From what I am reading this is an issue of poor optimization. Also it seems that this might be a problem with having to develop for the PC with a new engine. If they were overly focused on the PS4, I guess that could be a problem. It's super annoying in this case because Arkane and Bethesda are traditionally PC developers. Well congrats.I just built my first high-end PC during the summer and have been thoroughly enjoying it so far. I still have a PS4 from before I built it but I still want to use it.
