The Avengers Official Easter Egg/Reference Thread

Im not sure if this is right or not but when Stark gets the packet from Phil, and makes the screens bigger (the ones with Thor Cap and Hulk and the Cube), on the cube one after stark reaches in and grabbes it, in the top right hand corner (I think) is a massive crater? Hole? Something. It looked deep and huge, at first I thought it could be the crater thor's hammer landed in but it was to big. Was it maybe a Wakanda mining hole... Idk just thinking, let me know.

That gives me something else to look for when I go see it again....thanks.:woot:

The hole was the crater created by the cosmic cube. It's what's left of the base.

Caught by the long arm of the law!

Just so everyone knows what the last few posts are about, during the final battle, there's a shot of two cops, and there are a couple of posters in the background. One is a poster for the Broadway Lion King show, which is no big deal. The second, though, is 6 guitar pick-like shapes in the 6 colors of the Infinity Gems.

Just try and stop me. Here's a bootleg screen cap of Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet from the movie; do your worst, mod!

Since it coming out on blu-ray...has anyone found anything else worth of note?

Interesting. I never noticed the crows in "Thor" before.

Me neither, didnt notice the easter eggs in the Avengers Tower blueprints either.

Loved the specialized Sleeping Quarters and Training Area

I was hoping someone would have put out a set of the blueprints. I mean if they went THAT far to make them why not print them out?

I wonder what Tony had planned for Hulk's sleeping quarters.

That's pretty outstanding though that the SFX designers paid attention to detail that closely for things that even in people in theaters are never going to notice.
