i want keke palmer for storm i like her alot
Every time this thread gets updated I think it's because we have news.![]()

Don't expect anything any time soon. Rise of Apes will basically be a CGI fest so actors aren't that important, outside of the human ones. Probably won't get casting until June or July. Pretty confident the movie will be pushed back.
Maybe NYCC in October.
All indications point to them casting as we speak. Bryan has been looking for potential Scott's and Jean's during Jack the Giant Killer casting, and Vaughn will probably be looking at actors now.
If filming is to begin in July then we'll probably get casting announcements over the upcoming weeks. June will be a busy month for X-Men: First Class news.
It's a shame that I know where that quote is from (at least I think I do), I can't stand her show, but she's really a good in dramatic filmssay what now!?

So, I still say Keke Palmer would do the role of Storm justice, if not, maybe a talented unknown, maybe even one with an actual African background... I also hope she has an accent

you know casting for Storm is going to be tough because their is almost to none source material that features Storm as a teenager, in every incarnation she is and adult, most likely mid 20s-30s, so whoever the actress is chosen to play her will have to bring something new to the character and believable, so her character won't be wasted again ala X1-X3...
I suppose they can touch on her claustrophobia, mention her being worshipped as a goddess and deal w/her being uprooted to USA where people h8e/fear her

The New Line-Legendary movie, which was to have shot in England this summer, was quietly casting, with Singer meeting young actors such as Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) to play the projects young farmer Jack, the hero who must lead a dangerous expedition to the kingdom of giants in hope of rescuing a princess.

James McAvoy, a robust 31 years old this April, will be playing Charles Xavier in X-Men: First Class. So if you were wondering how young the film was skewing, now you know. I knew the X-Men would be young - one of those five kids named for Spider-Man won't be playing Peter Parker, but is up for the role of Scott Summers.
