I imagine they'll digitially-alter them if Gumbo makes the final cut (which I think he shall).

Well I meant some actors don't like using the contacts as it can actually hinder their vision...like Rebecca Romijn as Mystique in the first X-Film. So that was my assumption.

They still 'haven't announced the casting of Angel's father, or if Gambit's in the movie or not. I have to admit, that the tension is quite gripping.

I wish Arad or Ratner would do an interview soon. BY then, they would reveal the Gambit news or the interviewer would ask them about Gumbo. At this point, they can't beat around the bush anymore..the production has just started.

I think they'll reveal Gumbo's position some time around the 1st of Sept., either a week before or a week after.

I got this gut feeling he wont make it. This kind of reminds me of X2, they said he was in it for a while, then they decided not to. He'll probably be lucky to get a mention in a scene towards the end.

Then again, don't go by what I say. I'm full of crap most of the time...

I'm getting the feeling Gumbo will be lucky to get a Colossus style cameo. Talk of Bishop, and Stacy-X. Seems to me like they aren't looking for a Gambit...and the whole 'waiting for the right actor' crap is bull****. Why wait when alot of other characters were recast between films? : This feels like a bait and switch to satiate the Gambit fans(like with X-2).

I believe them when they say they are waiting for the right actor. Gambit is a big character, and can be a huge draw. We're probably going to see a cast overhaul of the X-franchise after this film. I think they're holding out the Cajun so that he can be a lead dog in the next chapter of the retooled X-franchise. They don't want to blow every bit of storyline potential when Gambit could breathe new life into the franchise, if done correctly.

We got some news on STacey X and got nothing for Gambit, a character that people DO ACTUALLY CARE FOR.

Stacy X? Please. Arad friggin knows that people love Gambit, and he won't give it to us because...he has something against the character..hands down. If Gambit is not in the movie, it's because of Arad, or perhaps Vaughn.

People would be like "How does he fit in the plot?" blah blah blah. Come on, anything is possible, it depends on the writers. If they can fit Ms. Hooker then they can surely fit in the Cajun.

Man,I don't know but if they were ever to incorporate the mutant massacre and gambit on film,it would make for quite a dramatic story.Ughhh,words cannot describe how much potential it could have.Gambit,the troubled character with many secrets,turns out to be a key player in the slaughtering of the morlocks,an incident which forever altered the future of his current family,the X-Men.I doubt we would see this on film anytime soon,but man oh man,it could be such an intense story.

Morlock Massacre would make a really eerie scene. It'll work really well on screen, even more than Dark Phoenix, cause let's face, they're not going to be taking the X-Men on the moon fighting intergalactic starships...it's far-fetched.

Plus I couldn't think of a better way to intro Gambit.

Y'know it could work, if not in X-3 maybe X-4. Anyone here seen Once Upon a Time in the West? At the start of the film a family is massacred. Its pretty brutal, if they keep the MM short and to the point, it could work and not require all the 'strings' attached. Could reintroduce Sabertooth through(even a new actor playing him) it too. Give us another(better) brutal fight with Wolvie.

For some reason, I've got a feeling that Remy will make it. It's just a feeling. They need a Brotherhood, and according to Arad, there's a lot of new members... in the meantime, I'll be waiting.

They seem to be throwing in alot of much lower caliber mutants(Stacy X, ext) so ot would be absurd not to have Gambit. My hope is it will be a role size similair to Pyro in X2.

Either way, Arad knows the popularity of Gambit. If he's actually trying to keep him a secret from us, he's doing a bang us job. If he's not in the movie, then well then, just tell us.

There's something there....You would think by now that someone would say officially say that he's out, but we haven't heard anything, have we? It's weird. I don't want to keep my hopes too high, but there's still hope.

Yeah, a Pyro sized role would be ideal for Remy.
