Blunt has been up for how many MCU roles now? I don't see it happening. She's basically a cbm golden goose, like Ryan Gosling. If it's too good to happen, it probably won't.

As I understand it, she would have been Black Widow if not for Fox strong arming her into Gulliver's Travells. Other roles have been supporting, right? Gamora would be much more ensemble, but I don't think she's been mentioned anyway, so it's moot. (Moo!)

They pushed for her as Peggy Carter. She declined.

And that simply wasn't true, as you have been told countless times.

Highly doubtful.

Listen it is true, if it wasnt we wouldnt be talking about him being cast.

Latino review put it up saying he is asking for Double, so yes it's TRUE and not doubtful.

Feige: How would you like to sign up for 18 films. First film's $45k!
Momoa: What?

"Jason, we're prepared to offer you a $20 gift certificate to Barney's"

If Momoa was offered the role it is because he did well in the audition and not because he was the last actor on Earth to meet your arbitrary height requirement. He has no leverage on Marvel, they will dump him quick if he tries to play hardball. I am also going to say this about the height discussion. Marvel has not in based any of their casting decisions on height so what makes people believe that they are all of the sudden starting now??

Jeebuz at the whinebags complaining about HEIGHT as a factor in casting for a role. Welcome to Hollywood, Home of Midget Action Stars since the medium began.
Just to be clear, we're not saying Gamora's actress HAS to be tall (Hollywood magic and all) we're saying she's GOING to be. Just like Marvel wasn't going to cast a wrestler to pay Drax, and all of the fans in favor of that were in denial, everybody who thinks Mila Kunis or anyone in that height range is going to be cast is in denial.

Yes they have. The hell are you talking about? I already gave an example with the Asgardians in Thor. Maybe you need more examples. It's no mistake that Natalie "5'3" Portman was cast to star opposite Chris "6'4" Hemsworth. It's no mistake that Tony Stark is shorter than Cap who's shorter than Thor. It's no mistake that Hayley Atwell and Emily Van Camp are 5'7 and 5'8 respectively, fairly tall for your average woman. Despite what you think Marvel takes height and build into consideration when casting, especially for their "heroic" characters.

*Jason huddles in with representation...murmuring...stands up* We want $100.

*Feige shakes fist, starts consulting with Marvel lawyers.*

They will, though not because they need him, but because they want him.

Depends on how much he's asking.
If it's outside of their asking price, believe me, Marvel *can* and *will* look elsewhere.

The only reason Momoa is supposedly asking for more is that he took the time to actually fly out to London to audition; none of the others in the rumormill did.

There's nothing wrong with a little negotiation.

I would expect there to be negotiation, but to think that Momoa has Marvel over a barrell is laughable.

Well yeah, it's just as silly as the notion that he's the only guy left they could cast.

And since both ideas stemmed from the same person I'm not exactly surprised.

It's just like when Terrence Howard had Marvel by the balls.

He is the only not unknown who can fill the role as of now and if you look at the casting marvel is looking for some one 6'3"-6'6" with muscles, look who they have looked at Isaiah Mustafa, Brian Patrick Wade, and Dave Bautista. Momoa is the only 6'4" muscle actor left. All the other actor are Unknowns

The difference between Momoa and Terrence Howard is there where a lot of actors who could fill his role. Not the same thing with Momoa, they are looking for some one tall and muscular. There are not many actors who fill that look.

Can I just bring up that when Marvel were casting Star Lord we heard Lee Pace, Joel Edgerton, and James Marsden among others. Then they finally cast Pratt completely out of left field. So basically just because Marvel mentions a few actors doesn't mean we'll get any of them. I don't dislike Mamoa, but I'm waiting for a more reliable source to confirm this.

Momoa is Pratt in this situation though, so I don't understand what you mean. This is the first time we heard about him.
