Pats defense blew that on sooo many levels. Offense did their job. Defense couldn't hold Eli Manning. They don't deserve to be World Champs.

Their offense did it for one quarter aside from their opening drive when they scored.....their defense held them for three quarters....to me it was the Offense that let them down in the game but the defense that let them down in the end....

So lucky. I hate how all the NYers are so happy yet half the people don't even watch football. Once again, this has been the luckiest team in the NFL this year.

It's always like that,where a team goes to the final match and everyone comes out. But i would say that is good too..team spirit and all that. Everyone thought the Giants would loose..but they were wrong.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that if ex-Patriots employee Matt Walsh is in possession of the Rams' walkthrough video from Super Bowl XXXVI, coach Bill Belichick will be suspended for one season.

Apparently commissioner Roger Goodell informed Belichick, upon fining him $500,000 and stripping the Patriots of a first-round pick, that a second strike would cost him an entire year. The odds on Walsh having the video seem slim, and a war of words between Walsh and the Patriots likely wouldn't result in any punishment if Walsh couldn't produce evidence.

I'm a Patriots fan, but hey, have to give credit to New York. They came out fighting and proved that they wanted the trophy more. I wanted to see history made myself with the Patriots being the second team to win it all undefeated.

Living proof that anything can happen and New York proved it. Congrats to New York and hope to see them again next year. It was a fun ride but it wasn't meant to be this year.

Either way New England has proven itself in Super Bowls. Can New York do it again? I definitely don't think so. I can guarantee that this will be the one and only Super Bowl, but it doesn't matter, the fact that you have one is enough as some guys play for a lifetime and don't come close to the Super Bowl. But Brady and co. have three rings and while this loss hurts for sure, it's not like they haven't been there before whereas Eli had to prove himself after the whole San Diego drama and I'm sure he wanted to get out of Peyton's shadow too.
