If DC ever made Batwoman heterosexual and had her start wasting her time with males i would boycott dc forever

When I was done vomiting in utter disgust and revulsion

I cant think of anything more disgusting than Batwoman being straight

If DC ever made her straight i would despise dc, the writers and the character. And never buy another dc product if they ever did something so bigoted and repulsive as turn Batwoman straight

Batwoman means so much to me. She's the one DC character I care about most of all. She's one of the only DC characters who brings any joy into my life and right now I need that

She's not straight. She's a lesbian and that's why I care so much about the character

stop what? she's clearly straight. all girls now a days go through a confusing and rebellious lesbian phase, its rarely genuine and never lasts. they're just being cute. this book is merely reflecting that. probably so it can connect with modern readers and new fans. but clearly kate is straight. and i cant wait for her to hook up with a dude. because then the character will be interesting. right now she's kinda boring with this "lesbian" thing.

Well, statistically, no they shouldn't. Since the DCnU seems to try and "accurately" portray society, in America 3.8% of the population is LGBT. So statistically, with 100 hundred members, only 3 would be LGBT . But with thirty there should be one.

Statistics, ruining everything since ancient Greece, where interestingly, there was a very high LGB population. That's what you call full circle folks.

i totally agree there should be more LGBT characters. im all for diversity and pissing off closed minded ass holes. and if one of those characters is cool enough to be in the JLA, then so be it. though, due to the current state of the JLA book, it'd be a waste. because it'd take a lot more than some girl on girl action to get me to pick up that garbage book again.

Having a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender hero on the team would get me to buy the book because at least then there would be one character I would find interesting in the series

The book would still probably be garbage but at least one of the characters would be one i would care about

The whole team being nothing but straight people just makes the series even more boring to me than it normally would be

And its already pretty darn boring

I hear the next issue is going to be about the team picking out curtains

It's not that i dont like heterosexuals Llama. I have nothing against people who are hetetosexual either real or fictional. I think everyone should do whatever feels right for them and as long as its all between consenting adults I dont think any kind of sexual orientation or activity is bad or wrong. Whether someone is straight, lgbt, asexual or whatever as long as their happy that's the only thing that matters

I'd certainly never hate someone for their sexuality. I know how that feels and its horrible

But in fiction I just dont care about straight characters. I dont feel any emotional connection to them. I dont hate them there are plenty of straight characters i like. But i dont really care about them. It's only the lgbt characters at dc who i really care what happens to them. As a lesbian comic book fan they're the characters that really mean something to me

And straight romances in fiction just bore me. A guy hooking up with a girl is just utterly tedious to me and I don't really care whether they fall in love or not. I have no interest in reading about straight romances at all. Same sex romances in fiction are the only romances that I find interesting or care about
