Yes, I've heard of the Weather Wizard. And good for him having his own means of summoning lightning. But we haven't seen Ocean Master borrowing anything from Weather Wizard.

Lightning didn't exist. Ocean Master waved his magic stick. Lightning happened. Normal lightning doesn't bother Superman. This lightning bothered Superman. Magic lightning.

How come Billy's lightning is magic but Ocean Master's can't be? They were both summoned by magic and came out of the sky.

He doesnt have to borrow anything from the Weather Wizard to have devices that are similar in function.........Come on dude.....Geez...

Does the Weather Wizard's wand summon magic lightning?? The lightning is not there either before he uses it!

Because it's not science. Do you just like quoting people and make up **** to say so you can post? It seems like when you get arguments you forget your point almost immediately and just say the opposite of whatever the person you're quoting says.

I mentioned him creating the lightning when you brought up pulling a meteor from space. They're not pulling it from a box of lightning sitting on a mountain somewhere. Weather Wizard can create normal lightning in a scientific manner with his wand. But it wouldn't hurt Superman. Billy Batson can create magic lightning. That does hurt Superman. So which is Ocean Master's?

Maybe you dont understand how lightning is formed.... I know that it's not a box .....but the elements to create it are up there!! And with the right "stimulus" they can be made to come together to make lightning!! That's not magic....its science!!

We know from observation of static electricity that static electrical discharges such as lightning are caused by separation of charges into positive and negative ions. Over time more of one charge builds until its natural attraction to the opposite charge causes it to migrate in an electrical discharge

As far as what hurts this NEW 52 Superman is concerned....the jury is still out! He wears armor for crying out loud...(which irks me to no end). So we still dont know if a big enuff jolt of regular lightning would knock him out.
That's why I keep telling you to not rule out Super Science!

I will keep an open mind to the magic angle.....but it still may not be the case.....got it?

Bleedingcool ran a story about RB Silva possibly teasing a new Justice League International book featuring Booster Gold, Shazam, Nightwing, Black Canary, Hawkman, Batgirl and Red Tornado.

The two things that stick out is he said he couldn't talk about it and he wrote the hashtag #justiceleagueinternational twice. More sketches in the link:

I'm very excited about the prospect of a new JLI book.

Unfortunately, I kinda think Silva's art sucks. The sketches look good, but his Superboy stuff was awful.

I didn't know the guy's name. I didn't make it past the first 2 issues.

I thought the art had potential, but was a bit too sloppy. If the JLI book looks like those sketches though, I'll be happy.
