Yeah, I have no idea why SHH posted this NON story on the front page about what Miller said to the Herald. Ridiculous IMO.

None of what Miller said is an absolute and IMO it is bogus.

If anything WB's should just let him do a JLA or Teen Titan MOCAP or CGI film. Doing a live action JL film, espeically in 2010 would be stupid. This whole oh "Bales BATMAN wouldn't fit in this "tale set in a different dimension" just sounds like utter crap and stupidity.

Instead, SHH should be putting on the main page how TDK is passing Spideys domestic Box Office numbers! Yeah!! :hehe:

LOL... here we go again!!

Yeah, ridiculous isn't it? :cmad:

If the rumors were true, Baruchel as Maxwell Lord is one of the most idiotic casting choices since, well...Ever.

Actually his casting was one of my favorites. Totally inspired - instead of all the fanboy stereotypical Pierce Brosnan/Mel Gibson rants. Plus the bonus that Baruchel is an excellent actor. It could have been a really interesting take.

:whatever:

...Sarcasm? Please? :csad:

Maybe we should wait until we find out what the part that he was in entailed. After all, Baruchel had a substantial part in a Best Picture winner and he certainly could play the role of a comic relief henchmen pretty easily.

The rush to judgement on a movie where there's been no formal script review and not even a glimpse of preproduction art is astounding.

Except that every peice of info we've recieved about the film sounds terrible, the writers and cast in particular.

And, please, no comic relief henchman. :down

Everyone kind of got bristled when Kal Penn got cast as a no name henchman in Superman Returns who had all of but two words of dialogue. A rather ridiculous bit of casting to be honest. Also Kate Bosworth who was way too young and inexperienced to be Lois Lane. She was totally wrong for the part and many were right about that from the beginning.

See, now you're just making baseless assumptions.
He could easily not be funny.:oldrazz:

And imagine what people will say about this if DJ whats-his-name and arm-n-hammer are actually casted as Superman and Batman.

Nope. No sarcasm. Totally standing by that statement. I think casting Baruchel was brilliant. Now some of the other casting choices . . . eh, not so much. But I'm willing to have a wait and see attitude.

I like Baruchel a lot. He was good in Tropic Thunder where he plays the straight man amongst a bunch of loons and silliness. He carried himself well.

That said . . . he's no Max Lord.

Baruchel is basically like a skinnier, lankier James Franco.

And without the brooding. :word: Baruchel has an edginess and crazy sort of intensity about him that I think would work well. But apparently that's just me. :oldrazz:

Yes. All THAT INFO, again? :whatever:

Now, ain't no reason not to not report on the status of Justice League, even if it's a bit on the doubty side. It's only the biggest team of superheroes joining in a movie, after all. And every other site has already relayed it.

You didn't quote the most interesting part:

I found it interesting that they were aware of the negative buzz and were using it for motivation, if they heard and read it, then surely WB has as well. Which leads me to believe there will be some changes if a JL movie goes forward.

Him being part of the movie is proof that George Miller shouldnt so much as touch the Justice League.

I don't know if that is the case. He should just touch it differently, or with his other hand.

That footnote in the Australian newspaper is snowballing into the news that the project is back on track on sites and papers worldwide.

It's mass hysteria I tell you! George Miller is trying to create a buzz.

The rush to judgement on a movie where there's been no formal script review and not even a glimpse of preproduction art is astounding.

You mean that on both sides of the fence though right? The rush to negativity, ie "Teh Moviez is teh sux!" & on the positive side ie "Tis moviez is the bestest!"

Difference being, that Justice League actually began preproduction. Now, I know many movies die in preproduction, but Man of Steel is probably just a script or a screenplay, if anything. Just sayin'...

Yeah and the huge question is WHY??
Front page news should have them saying TDK is passing Spideys domestic #'s

I think Legendary has that market cornered...

You actually believe that? Did you read what he said? He said it almost as an afterthought, then caught himself, saying 'We'll see'.

Um...I was joking?

I didn't really read into it, but obviously since you are being so sassy, you believe his quote means that the movie already has a release date and the DVD Cover is made. :o

Im not really concern what Miller has to say or not, Im just waiting on what other pieces falls into place.... so we'll see...

I'm not sure why Miller would know what is going on anyway to tell you the truth?
