Could be they're copying Marvel's cameos idea to join the franchises into one universe.

Yea i wish things could jsut be straight and clear for us fans. I do really hope gl/jla/green arrow films can all get off the ground. Green arrow and gl both look like they could be great films and i would love to see them happen.

I dunno. I'm just speculating. They don't need Routh for a Clark Kent appearance if they're not using Singer's continuity.

Well, why stop with two different live action Superman (on film)? You can have Routh in the Singer films, Cotrona in Miller's film and have a third completely different actor as Clark Kent in this GL solo film. Proponents of the current JLA film could care less about a singular universe so I'm sure they would be fine with that.

It's pretty amazing we have heard next to nothing on MOS. At least with JLA, it was announced in the trades the writers who were working on the script. Supposedly, according to Routh, MOS has writers but it was never announced. So strange.

Let me tell you what is going to happen. Sooner rather then later, somebody is going to put two and two together, and come up with the theory that Welling SHOULD play Clark in the Green Lantern movie. They are going to point to the fact that the script only calls for Clark Kent and not Superman, thus meaning Welling is Clark. This will lead to Welling playing Superman in JLA.

Then a group will come out against that and insist that Routh is playing Clark Kent because he has played the role before in Superman Returns. They will say this cameo proves that MOS is happening.

Then a webmaster or two will run with a story before it finally dies down on both fronts. Meanwhile, we will still have no solid news on JLM or MOS.

The thing with singer's MOS is everything i read up on the film is no green light, no script, and no writers hired for the film. We dont even know if it will happen at all with all the talk their has been the last few months of wb looking into do reboots. Then with this green lantern script review as i said before who to say we actually will see the characters clark kent/guy garnder(spelling?). Maybe the ring will tell the alien green latern their is a kryptonian on earth or maybe it flys by the planet and we see clark's desk but he isnt there.

It said the character of Clark Kent was in the script. I don't think it will just be his desk. That being said, it is just a script. It can easily be wiped out.
