As far as brilliant plans go, trying to steal from an island full of super-powered people is kinda foolhardy.

isnt the talking ape a DC character?
DC has countless talking apes. Gorilla Grodd, Ultra Humanite, ConGorilla, Monsieur Mallah, Solovar, the residents of Gorilla City, Detective Chimp...

Marvel just has Gorilla Man.

He even remembered Pixie's black hair streaks.

I have a question. Who are the Agents of Atlas and what are the X-men doing with them?

haha, something 90% of the other artists who handle her dont

The Agents of Atlas are superhero terrorists, if that makes sense.

It all dates back to the Golden Age and Atlas Comics. Atlas Comics published a comic called The Yellow Claw, which was about a stereotypical evil Chinese supervillain named Yellow Claw who was always being foiled by a young Chinese-American FBI agent named Jimmy Woo.

Yellow Claw founded a terrorist group called the Atlas Foundation. Jimmy Woo and a group of superheroes took over the Atlas Foundation, and they're now trying to use Yellow Claw's old resources to do good.

So the Agents of Atlas are good guys posing as bad guys. As for what the X-Men are doing with them... it just looks like Atlas is trying to steal Cerebra (probably "for the greater good" and I wouldn't be surprised if they really did intend to give it back), and the groups are about to butt heads.

you'll never guess when the last time I double-posted was...

Thanks for the description. I did some checking up on them. I didnt realize that was the same Atlantis Namora. She died right? Does Namor know she's alive? Did she make any appearances when Namorita died in Civil War?

Namora died? I know Namorita died.

And yes, Namor knows Namora is alive. They were both heavily involved in the "Love and War" arc of Incredible Hercules, which took place immediately before Namora got called up by Atlas.

That looks interesting, if only I know when the first issue had come out, it went totally under my nose.

And for all the world to steal, they have to pick the X-Men? There are bias among the superpower types as well?

First issue actually isn't out yet. That's the preview for #1, but I didn't catch before that they put the cover for #2 up instead.

Thanks, that's weird to have the cover of #2 up but not the first one.

I still think Namora and Colossus on that cover look more like they're about to get intimate than fight.

One needs to get something good out of a fight when 90% of his/her time is devoting in fighting.

It's important to love your job! :P

Ps. Is that Gorilla guy the same one in XMFC?

Yep. I still remember that panel of Beast walking next to him gorilla-style, and Gorilla Man saying "You mocking me, boy?"

I wonder if the writer will/does remember what went on in XMFC.
If the rest of the O5 acted that they never crossed the Gorilla guy I'd be pissed, since I liked the story in XMFC.

It's being written by the same dude who wrote XMFC.
