I wonder if the writer will/does remember what went on in XMFC.
If the rest of the O5 acted that they never crossed the Gorilla guy I'd be pissed, since I liked the story in XMFC.

First Class wasnt canon so it shouldnt even matter

I prefer to think it canon for as long as the story fits.

It fulfills the background and past of the old time.

Didnt the first issue have Bobby using a 360? FC was an alternate reality modern day adaption of the original 5. It wasnt meant to fill in the gaps like Hidden Years did

XMFC was always a little ambiguous in terms of continuity. I think if any writer wanted to, they could reference the events of that series as canon.

omg that is so cute!

We stopped buying comics for about a year because we were buying them and not reading them, but I walked by a shop the other day and picked up Dark X-Men: The Confession, and while the writing is kinda (really) cheesy and OTT, it reminded me why I love Cyclops and Emma.

However, I think that most men would put the book down in disgust, because even I rolled my eyes at some of the dialogue.

Yeah, I don't know that The Confession was worth the money I paid for it.

Scott: "I've done terrible things."
Emma: "I've done terrible things."
Scott: "My terrible things were worse."
Emma: "No, my terrible things were worse because I'm a terrible person."
Scott: "I don't care if your terrible things were worse than my terrible things, because I love you and that doesn't make you a terrible person."
Emma: "If my terrible things don't make me a terrible person, then why are you so worried about me thinking you're a terrible person for the terrible things you did that aren't as bad as my terrible things?"
Scott: "What?"
Emma: "Shut up and kiss me."

The babies are so cute.


As for Confession...I think I like it better than Uncanny #514, and I really don't mind seeing Emma showing her vulnerable side in front of Scott, or vice versa, once in a while, but I really hope she'd cut down the habit of shedding tears, isn't there a study said that women no longer have the advantage of weapon of tears? Hope she bounces back to her *****y self soon.

I think it's okay for Emma to cry once in a while. However, she's been doing it every other week since she started dating Scott.

Yeah, the point is the 'once in a while'.


Baby-Rogue doesn't have her counterpart's southern accent, but Baby-Logan said 'Darling' like his 616 counterpart, kind of weird.

But they're adorable nonetheless.

Since when did the X-babies get the names of the X-men? They always had different names like Wolvie, Bamf, Cyke, Sugah, Shower, Psychild, etc...

Maybe they think they're grown-ups after being the top-rated stars so they should use grown-ups names.

Baby-Rogue doesn't have her counterpart's southern accent

Thank god for that. I always hear Rogue speaking in a southern accent in my head regardless. I just hate it when Rogue or Cannonball say "ah" and "mah" instead of "I" and "my." Ah and mah aren't real words. Southerners say "I" and "my." There's no reason their dialogue should be spelled phonetically.

Seems someone is going to remember that Ali and Betsy had a past relationship from the Australian days. What an unexpected team up. I love that Psylocke is using her butterfly effect again

The power thing needs to be more consistent.

Some of the mutants' powers are getting really confusing.

Skimmed through X-Babies #1, adorable as predicted but lots of plot holes, especially the part [BLACKOUT]Spiral was fighting with the Babies[/BLACKOUT], and the relationship between Baby Cyclops and Baby Wolverine (They've reached a mutual understanding last time I read them in Uncanny, and last time it was Cyke who had the problem of lisp, now it's Wolvie's turn?).

Well, the title's main goal is to be adorable, and these aren't the real X-Men so I'll just overlook the flaws and focus on the adorable part.
