Actually, I've found that there's a startling lack of brunette mutants, other than non-white mutants who'd obviously have dark hair.

Shadowcat is brunette.
Rogue is 4/5 brunette.
...and that's all I got.

yeah but generally redhead-ism is not as frequent in the real world as the others. which is why its weird that there are so many red headed female mutants, etc

Look at all the time Marvel tried to hype a mysterious mutant character's appearance recently, ie: this Mutant Zero one, the baby (first said she was a strawberry-blonde now she is unmistakably a red-haired girl), and the never actually stay-dead Jean, and now Madelyne joins the club as well.

I want green-haired ones for a change (or any other color, maybe with the exception of blonde), always prefer the color on comic female characters, or brunette, I like brunettes more in RL anyway.

Who the hell is Fixx?

Fixx is a member of the X.U.E. which was Shard's renegade crew of former X.S.E. cops. She is a tele-something. She can pull herself and others through time, has these little butterfly like mental weapons that she uses like darts and i think she is telekinetic. she was pretty awesome and badass...as were her other two teammates, Archer and Greystone. The three of them, along with Shard and Havok and Polaris made up the roster of X-Factor right before it changed to Mutant X.

Suposedly, Greystone died in the same explosion that 'killed' havok...but since he survived it, im sure greystone coul have too.

Archer and Fixx are now in limbo...so deeply that people forgot to depower them during M day

Who else am I missing? Doesnt seem like that there are many red heads as it seems. Theres a TON more blondes out there if you want to go by count

Scarlet Witch's hair is actually aurburn. I know sometimes colorists dont quite get it right and they have it looking more red but she's supposed to be a brunette.

Good list, though but to be fair, one can also start listing the various characters that have different (natural) hair colors and those would definetly be longer

Slott also said that even people who didn't read comics would recognize Mutant Zero when her identity was revealed. I'd say that lets out Typhoid Mary. I'm hoping it's Jean, but even if it's not I do not want the Messiah Baby to turn out to be Jean.
