Ebert said that about the X-Films?

I'm shocked.....for me, it was the other way around.

But, most of the time....Ebert seems to know what he's talking about.

If somebody bothered to make a fake you'd think they'd want to check the running time.

Oh noes! The Tomatometer has dropped all the way down to 82%!

Hide the children!!

It will raise again. There are 2-3 positive reviews made by legit critics to be added.

John Williams was Credited at the begining of the movie, John Ottman's name came up, followed by John Williams

and the ending, is pretty much just like the originals except its updated.
and about 20 seconds into the credits they have the Dedication to Chris and Dana

Well, from what I found out....Ebert and Roper will have the review for Superman Returns airing next week.
Yeah, doesn't help much... Why wouldn't they have the review for it tonight?

Just read that Slant review......wow...talk about offensive. That dude attacked Singer's sexual preference.

Other than that, I didn't understand anything that review said. It was alot of mindless jibber jabber and pretenious crap. The review made no sense.

That's exactly what I was wondering.

I dunno, maybe the film just doesn't need the support, since either way the film will still open huge.

Batman Begins, on the other hand, needed the positive feedback.....which, I remember, had the Ebert and Roper review about a week before it opened.

Think about it.
1. Ebert and Roeper give early reviews only when they are both thumbs up.
2. Ebert and Roeper are not giving an early review of SR.

:o Yeah, it was really a waste of time to even read that junk. What a total tool!

I doubt that's true. I mean, what'd be the point if it were that obvious to figure out?

Here's my deal...I am probably one of the few people who 'trust' Ebert. I remember watching him, Ebert and Siskel (sp), when I was younger. I always liked Ebert better, so I do listen to him. I usually check his reviews first on Yahoo when I'm deciding on a film.

Though, sometimes I just flat out disagree with him. Sometimes I think he has his own mind, and sometimes I think he's a studio pawn. So, if he did give it two stars I'd like to hear why, but I don't care if he liked it or not. It's not like it's going to stop me from seeing the movie.

At this point, I just can't believe that people are still giving fake reviews. The movie comes out soon. What's the point now?

I was, honestly, surprised at the amount of homo-erotic undertones the review created out of thin air. I mean, he mentioned something about crotches....and the giant Daily Planet Globe ball when Superman had to catch it. Wtf?

Jibber jabber.

I have a questions for anyone who saw the film
when Superman is on the plane with Lois and he has the kryptonite stuck in his back--does Jason react to it, seeing as though they are all on the plane together? also what was Jason's reaction when Luthor pulled out the kryptonite. Did he really look sick or was Luthor seeing things?

He looks at it but there little else reaction. When Lex first pulls it out the kid's eyes grow wide and he seems pretty scared. There is a reaction but you can't tell if he actually feels something else then fear. Then again, why would the kid be scared of something that basically looks like green glass or rock. I doubt his mom told him about Superman's weakness.

The theory that WB put under embargo only the "negative reviews" is typical of an hater like you.
