read the rest of that sentence, and breath.

I did read the rest of it. I was basing that reply off my own observations about Ebert. That's why I bolded a small part of your original post.

You should pay attention to my posts.;)

I know we left this subject, but I have to bring it up because TE mentioned about his friend and how he trust his instincts.

:) :) :) Well, a good friend of mine who used to work for ET and just moved to NY said she loved the movie. I asked her about the romantic parts, and the stuff that she knew I WOULD be worried about and she said it "looks like the Eight Ball is definitely going to go that way". That's a quote from her email.

That so means the world to me? **** the other reviews....it's only going to be the ones that you trust that mean the most and "she" is someone I trust.

Just had to add that.

good for your, and i well take your friends review into consideration, if it is more of a love story with action, then its a good movie but not a Superman :) . Which means Singer was correct in saying his making a love story . which saidly sucks for me.

Whatever the **** that means.

Well at least you didn't burn your soup. Now all I have to eat is beans.

It is not a love story. Ultimately it is a story about humanity, and how much or less human Superman really is. His feelings for Lois play an intricate part in the developement of the character, but I wouldn't call the movie a love story.

I wasn't calling it that, I was refering to Singers statment. wgere he said it is first anf foremost a love story.

For those who've seen it already, is it true that we dont even get to see Clark in the basement, surrounded by all the old newspapers, reading the article titled "Does the world need a savior?"... We ****ing need to see this, no matter how short the scene may be!!! It's importened that we see supes catching up on what's been going on in his absence!!!

We dont even see young Clark finding the baby pod in the storm cellar!! I'm sorry, but this right on sucks!!! I mean, how much can they cut from the teaser trailer already!

Actually,
They kind of hint at how the world has gone to hell while he's watching the news and seeing death, destruction, and misery all over the globe.

So it's not entirely a lost cause and it doesn't ruin the film at all.

Some stuff was cut, but as I said, the film doesn't suffer from it and maintains a very great, emotional, and complex story(IMO).

Him finding the pod isn't in the movie, but as I said, it doesn't butcher the film and doesn't make it suffer in any fashion whatsoever.

Singer already said that there will be a DVD with all those scenes included in the movie. He cut those scenes out because he wanted to.

I'm calm...but I'm calm saying that it sucks! This wont ruin the movie, of course it wont... but it still sucks, that they've cut out all of that good stuff from the farm.

IT WILL BE ON THE DVD

It ****ING sucks, people!

Naite, if he is seeing a plaque of the article in the Daily Planet then he doesn't really need to see it twice. I agree it looked like a cool shot from the picture we saw, but it could have been a horrible pointless scene as well, we just don't know.

So, what were those two or three positive reviews you mentioned were not on Rotten Tomatoes yet?

Ever heard of a little film called Superman The Movie. I heard it's a good film.

Howard Stern raved about it on his last show giving it four and a half stars out of five. He said the only criticisms he had is that he wished there was a supervillain and that it would have been less like the older film. And Artie Lange mentioned that including EVERYTHING...failed projects, salaries, etc. that the film cost 363 million to finally get made.

Moriarty's Review at aintitcoolnews.com is coming sometime today I think. He just posted saying he was working on it now. Should we take bets on his views? lol

It's strange because they are from legit critics.

I think that after the story of the "budget script". Moriarty was involuntary put in the classic "POTC2VsSR" fanboys war.
IMO it's really difficult for him to write an impartial review.

'I read the script, not good, oh by the way the POTC2 trailer looks good......'

I remember that day, with the SR trailer coming out and the fighting on the boards :( . Bad memories.

Yes. mee too. And I think that, after that day, Moriarty, even if involuntary, is a POTC2 boy.

when is the official air-date of the E & R review of SR?
