Official Rulk Thread

But then your "weak Hulk, wussy Thor" fears would still be realized...

Oh, really? Hmm, well, I guess Thor's comic is pretty popular these days. Hey, maybe now that Thor's actually as popular as the Hulk, we'll see him fight like he has more than 3 brain cells.

You mean this fantasmagorical picture?:wow: Oh yeah. I'm ready!

Oh wow. Jan '09 is gonna be a good month lol

This book is moving to slowly and quickly at the same time. Hulk fights Abom is 3, Hulk in 4, and Thor in 5? Can I get a fight that's longer than 1 issue please. Abom, Hulk, and Thor should be at least 6 issues of storytelling right there. I know the book is supposed to be...what's that phrase you all keep using...."stupid fun" but jeez.

I still do not get why this creature is called Hulk if he is going to fight the HULK. Since when was a hulk a species. Ravage was not called Hulk.

Just finished reading issue #3. Marginally better issue this round.

No big reveals.

Funnily enough I have not even recieved #2 yet. Being a subscriber overseas sometimes really sucks. I am now going to order it from a store I found here.

I guess because there's still some possibility that he's Bruce. We don't know who the red Hulk is or where he comes from. Maybe he's a splinter personality of Bruce that got its own body, like a variation on the green Hulk did after Onslaught.

That is a possible I guess, but I really hope they don't take that road. I could have done without this, "Red Hulk;" but since we have him, I really hope it's somebody completely unexpected.

^Bummer! How long does it usually take to receive an issue?

I generally get it 2 to 3 weeks after it comes out. But it really varies. i get cap America always on time. Spiderman comes generally two at a time. Both Avenger tend to take their time but they get here. Thor takes ages because I got the latest issue only a week ago. exiles and X Men always come on time.

What is really crazy is my favorites are thor and the Hulk and they are the ones that take the longest to get to me.

That is a possibility but somehow I doubt it. i am just worried that this red gsc will put the smackdown on hulk because I do not see any other reason for him to gfight Thor afterwards.

Never fails does it?

I've been wondering if maybe this Red Hulk is Skrull-Bruce. I don't know why he would turn red, but maybe Skrull-Bruce couldn't change into the hulk unless he juiced himself up with some radiation. It's probably REALLY far-fetched, but I wanted to throw that out there.:yay:

Or maybe the red Hulk is the real Bruce, changed somehow after WWH, and the Bruce stuck in jail is the Skrull.

Me, too. It wouldn't be the first time Banner's gone through weird Hulk transformations. Plus, given all the crap the Hulk was subjected to in WWH, it'd have a good basis this time.

The red Hulk is obviously the physical manifestation of Bruce's rage(minus gamma radiation). Something abut Sentry's energy exhausted the gamma rays and caused it to be represented in its raw form....red.

^^Not out of the question. Plus there was that red laser-whatever-it-was weapon that Stark hit them with...
