The red Hulk is obviously the physical manifestation of Bruce's rage(minus gamma radiation). Something abut Sentry's energy exhausted the gamma rays and caused it to be represented in its raw form....red.

Sounds like it could be a form of nuclear transmutation to me.

Right, but I really thought they were saying that the Red Hulk is still giving off gamma radiation. I'll have to look at that tonight.

I didn't even think about this being an effect from his fight with the Sentry.
