Clay Quartermain. A longtime SHIELD agent.

Commonly associated with the Hulkbuster unit, it should be noted.

Also, probably in possession of the ugliest uniform in SHIELD history.

Thanks for posting the picture of Quartermain, I thought he was a new character somehow, glad he isn't.
Thanks though.

Perhaps the energy wasn't used up, but escaped from Bruce's body, and combining with the Sentry energy (or perhaps just the massive amount of energy Bruce got from being in space), the energy found a way to have its own body?

How the energy became a living body is sort of throwing me off, but it is possible that this is who the Red Hulk is.

I still think it might be Samson.

This is sort of like a mystery film, where the commercial says you will never guess how it all ends. And so all these ideas about what the ending could be goes through your head.
Eventually you think up the right answer.

We have probably already mentioned who the Red Hulk really is already.
:bh:

It's probably just a Skrull.
That would annoy me. If the Skrulls can duplicate powers to the extent of the red Hulk's, who seems to be every bit as powerful as the real Hulk, why haven't they mass-produced an army of red Hulk-level powerhouses and already taken over Earth? :o

Even back with the original Super-Skrull, they could duplicate the FF's powers, but not quite at the real FF's level.

I don't know, a 100,000 Hulk Skrulls at half strength could have done the job as well.

No way, the real Hulk would've seen them and gotten so angry he'd make them all explode.

Why aren't there more Hulks period? Marvel science could create another one too, but they don't really compare to The Incredible One.

Is it for certain that Banner isn't the Red Hulk? Or that the green hulk isn't a skrull?

Banner was shown to be in his cell. I think someone would have notice banner going red and leaving his cell temp. Given Ricks reaction, i doubt he would go abom on Bruce. No i dont think the skrulls have gotten to the hulk(hell hes been all over the place and nowhere). Also Hulk is a very special case. They have made unstable hulk like beings, but nothing at the hulks level nor controllable enough to be viable for mass production.

I just know the last time I saw Bruce Banner was when his holding tank flashed red and he smiled. Before that, he was blasted by that red beam which was supposed to neutralize him.

But suddenly, there's this green hulk running around AND this red one.

Is it for certain that Banner isn't the Red Hulk? Or that the green hulk isn't a skrull?

Did you read issue 3? It shows Banner turning into the green Hulk.

No, but show me the issue where they show that Banner turning into the green Hulk isn't a skrull.

Steve Rogers is the Red Hulk.
That is how they bring Steve Rogers back.

Gasp, and thats why he attacks Tony Stark and SHIELD.

I think Red Hulk is probably Samson also...but that may be too obvious.

BTW, in case I missed it, how did Rick Jones become A-Bomb !!

I haven't read issue three yet, so I have no clue.
But to add to you question, wasn't Rick Jones dead?

So did they show how he came back and how he became A-Bomb?

Like I said way back during World War Hulk, we never saw Miek kill Rick Jones. All we see is Miek impaling Rick, and Rick being wheeled away on a stretcher. If he died, they'd have dragged him off in a body bag.

I never read WWHulk either, but I would imagin if someone of Rick's status in the Marvel U had died then they would have made it very clear that he was dead.
Perhaps showed him die in someones arms, made it a somewhat big event, maybe killed him like they killed Chef on South Park.
Seriously though, it would have been very obvious that he was dead.

There is still the mystery of how he became the new A-Bomb, and maybe its connected to the Red Hulk.
Otherwise why introduce him in the Red Hulk story?

That made laugh. It also made me cry.

I've only been buying one title so far, but....

*Sigh* suckered into this one. But can't find issue #2...

More than likely Planet Hulk and WW Hulk will end up in paperback form, yes?

Red Hulk i believe was seperated from Banner and the Hulk during WWH when the Hulk was Hit by that Red Beam. Somehow it created a splinter personailty or hulks or banners psyche. I think the Red Hulk will turn out to be the Green Hulks from WWH anger and rage in a physical form of a red Hulk. I mean if this Red Hulk is the next level of Hulk it can't be someone else it has to be related to banner even if banner doesn't change into it it had to have split from him or the Green Hulk to be the next level and evolution of the Hulk.

No one's said that he is necessarily the next evolution of the Hulk, though.

No but he has been called the Hulk which is the name of one guy not the name of a species.

That may be how you'd like it, but the fact remains that the red Hulk could still be anyone except Rick, Iron Man, and She-Hulk.
