Official Rulk Thread

Yeah, I'm sure various artists have drawn his virus differently over the years. If the eye is mechanical, then that's cool

IIRC the glowy-eye thing is his telekinesis spilling out.

There was a while in Cable/Deadpool when he had that internet-telepathy-technological-telekinesis thing going on, he might have had a mechanical eye for a while then.

His mechanical eye flashed when he used his psychic powers, yes, but it was still mechanical, as far as I recall. It flashed a lot even when he didn't use his powers, back before they came up with the idea of making him a psychic messiah.

Huh, according to Marvel Directory you are indeed correct. Somehow that just never registered for me.

That's what I say anytime I try to think about his backstory for more than ten seconds. :o

Or when my DVR box screws up and forgets to record an episode of something.

So when does number 4 come out where we see the Hulk owned by this new creature? :(

By the way one thing to note is that Banner states that a clue os the radiation which is over spilling which leads to Sampson but given the glowing eyes with no irises (a clear difference from the Hulk) I wonder. In any case, it is a recognisable organism fom the base.

So....Apparently the Red Hulk is none other than Ares. Joe Q said it during a recent interview...Wonder how they're going to try and explain that.

Naw, the Ares that's been in MA is a Skrull, along with Athena, with the real Ares trapped in the form of a Hulk, which will segue into Hulk's reintroduction to Incredible ____.

Lame. I think the red Hulk should be, like, 3 Skrulls taped together to form one giant Skrull(k).

They should do an advice column.
Dear Constructicons,

My boyfriend and I had a really great relationship, but lately he's been distant and I can't get through to him. I think there may be another woman. Help!

Distraught

Dear Distraught,

First, you must confirm that your boyfriend is cheating on you. We recommend surprising him when he comes home one night, strapping him to a chair, and torturing him relentlessly until he confesses. After you have obtained confirmation of his lecherous ways, you must find five other like-minded female humans, recalibrate yourselves according to the attached instructions, merge to form Devastator, and crush him like the pathetic bug he is. Do not concern yourself with your laughable human feelings of guilt; he obviously wasn't good enough for you anyway.

Yours,
Constructicons

P.S. - Present your boyfriend's pulpified remains to our great lord Megatron and he may find a place for you in the Decepticon ranks, that your worthless life might be spared when he burns your pitiful planet to the ground around the Autobots' auditory receptors and establishes the first Decepticon Galactic Empire. Decepticons forever!

Is it me or did the issue kind of feel like a filler issue? It was a giant size issue but.......kind of unnecessary. I think the Red Hulk is Ross though. He was obviously angry about Abomy killing Betty which explains why he killed him. Plus the convo he had with Bruce. It still doesn't make sense for Rick to be Abomy or even a gun that can kill him.

Rick's been confirmed as A-Bomb, hasn't he? And if Ross is the red Hulk, I demand a full issue explaining where the **** his mustache goes.

Yeah Rick was confirmed awhile back. But in the issue Ross wasn't confirmed but they had a segment about him being really upset about Abomy killing his daughter and how this Hulk doesn't get stronger, just gets hotter when he gets angry. I just want them to explain how Ross was changed. But good news and bad news Corp. Good news is Thor and Red Hulk will square off soon. Bad news is, it's in a Hulk book so you know how it's going to turn out. :o
