Official Rulk Thread

He changed to the Abomy at the end of issue 2 or 3. Not sure which one though, but they haven't explained how this happened.

Rick turned into A-Bomb. He's different from the original Abomination, who was killed.
Yeah Rick was confirmed awhile back. But in the issue Ross wasn't confirmed but they had a segment about him being really upset about Abomy killing his daughter and how this Hulk doesn't get stronger, just gets hotter when he gets angry. I just want them to explain how Ross was changed. But good news and bad news Corp. Good news is Thor and Red Hulk will square off soon. Bad news is, it's in a Hulk book so you know how it's going to turn out. :o
I know, Thor's appearing in #5. It's just the red Hulk, though, so Thor might win or it might turn out to be a draw even though it's in a Hulk book. If it doesn't, obviously Loeb needs to turn in his keyboard and never write for Marvel again. :o

Has anyone mentioned you can be the red HULK in the 360 version of the upcoming HULK game?

Apparently they want to make this Hulk beyond powerful. They plan on having him stopping a charging Juggernaut so I wonder what will happen against Thor...

Where did you hear they're planning to have him stop a charging Juggernaut?

^lol

Why none other than the most trusted source of them all, wikipedia!(lol)

"Ed Mcguiness has mentioned in a Wizard article that he plans to have the Red Hulk display reality bending strength never before seen previously in Marvel; one such feat he plans to display is the Red Hulk pushing a fully powered Juggernaut back, as well as killing Wendigo, a mystical creature more than capable of fighting the Green Hulk to a standstill."

Also, I'm slightly confused with the level of durability displayed by the Wendigo considering Hulk was able to cut it's head in two with what appeared to be a regular sword type object. (did they explain anywhere that it's adamantium or anything?)

Huh. I don't know how reliable that is, but McGuinness needs to brush up on his reading. War Hulk's stopped the Juggernaut and Thor's godblast has already pushed a fully powered (if by fully powered they mean the classically powered) Juggernaut back.

Well, technically WWHulk just...delayed their battle.

That's not who I meant by "War Hulk." Apocalypse turned the Hulk into War, one of his Horsemen, using Celestial technology about 10 years ago. Those Celestial enhancements allowed him to stop the Juggernaut.

There are also rumors of the new Hulk having powers he has yet to display...I truly hope these are false.

Eh, I wouldn't be averse to that. If he displays more powers, his wins over certain characters might be more convincing.

Some of the powers just seemed like far too much. Blasts from the eyes, being able to create dupes, etc.

That's what surprised me, I heard Red Hulk would be completely plot armored, and he didn't seem to be much more haxed than Green Hulk has been recently, but I guess its going to get worse. Punchan comics. I guess it wouldn't be Wednesday without one or two of em.

Just do what I do. Whenever in question just say, "batman could beat him" then back away slowly without making eye contact and wait. It's an attraction that's only akin to sharks once there's blood in the water. Batfans and Hulkfans can just sense when someone has the gall to say their boy could potentially be defeated. Then sit back, drink you're icy island drink and let the batboys and hulkamaniacs do their little dance while the grownups talk.

Quick question: After reading this excerpt from the Wiki article...

Wikipedia entry on Hulk said:
Much has been hinted and almost mentioned, that the Red Hulk would have additional powers aside from strength. Such rumored but yet to be demonstrated powers are said to be: shooting yellow energy blasts from his eyes when increasingly agitated, developing auto evolve ability to any percieved threat that physical confrontation cannot cope with such as increased durability, intelligence and converting into an energy like form. The most grand of all hinted at new abilities is for the Red Hulk to be able to absorb all gamma radiation within a 3000 mile radius, and use that excess power to release it in a massive energy wave in an omnidirectional form. One possible expression of this feat occurs during the Red Hulk's first appearance where he turns the ground beneath him into glass, merely due to gamma radiation expenditure. Or use it to increase his size and strength, durability much like the living monolith. He is also rumored to be able to split himself like Jamie Madrox using rapid cellular mitosis to create multiple red hulks all under a hive mind control. Again, these abilities are as yet undemonstrated.

...How many people now believe that the Red Hulk is secretly Son Goku from Dragon Ball?

I dunno. If this is true, it sounds a bit ridiculous. I was hoping that the Hulk mythos was going to become a bit more grounded during Loeb's run after World War Hulk's displays. This seems to confirm the exact opposite.

Seriously. I'm just waiting for white-gold Hulk hair and a blue Super Saiyan aura to confirm that they're doing a DBZ/Hulk crossover. It just doesn't sound like Hulk, and- mind you- I've seen threads documenting how Hulk can rip through energy or punch through time storms.

It's funny because it's true. (The fanboy stuff is true, that is. Batman couldn't really beat him. :oldrazz:)

I don't like the idea of red hulk being stronger than good old greenskin, there's one true hulk and he's the strongest one there is :woot:.

I bet it'll be something like, Red Hulk is naturally the strongest living creature to ever walk the Earth, but he doesn't get any stronger. So that when the real Hulk does fight him, he'll get more pissed off, meaning he'll get stronger, and eventually he'll trump the Red Hulk, thus becoming the strongest Hulk.
