More assumed he will be done in a SS movie. Never been said exactly.

I am still looking forward to FF2, though. Like I have said before, better to not see Galactus than to see a crappy Galactus. I am hoping no Galactus is what is in the movie (I have been avoiding spoilers on that front).

this just proves that Spidey3 will make $900M. $867.7M isn't far far from making $900M in the coming days or weeks so there defenitley shouldn't be any doubts.

It only needs about 20 more dollars and it's achived the impossible record of $900M. Worldwide record for a supewrhero movie .

On the subject on the competition with Shrek 3 WW, let's remind to some of you that it didn't open in every market like SM3 and POTC3 did.

The Euro-summer may not feel as crowded as the US market (taking France release dates for example) :
May 2nd SM3
May 23rd POTC3
June 13th Shrek 3
June 20th Ocean's 13
July 4th Die Hard 4
July 11th HP5
July 25th Simpsons - Transformers (ouchie)
August 1st Ratatouille (that one should be huge)
August 8th FF2
etc...

Reliable sources have already seen it and told me everything. But hey, tell you what; go ahead and see it for yourself. If i choose to not waste my time and money, that's MY business....'kay?

If it turns out i was mis-informed, and :

1) The Watcher appears and warns The FF what is about to happen.

2 ) Galactus appears in all his Jack Kirby designed glory, with a speaking roll.

3) Alicia Masters (NOT Sue) convinces the Surfer to rebel against his master.

4) The Surfer and FF fight side by side against Galactus, and send him packing.

If all four of those things happen (which were INTEGRAL to the original storyline), i will come back here (AND the FF forum) and publicly apologize....

If I think the movie sucks I will gladly come here and say it sucked. However a movie doesn't have to be an exact copy of a comic for me to enjoy it. In fact I prefer them to be different. I don't want to watch the comic I have already read. If it were an exact copy it would be boring to me. I like that they try to at least be a little original.

And that is exactly why I think Spidey3 is defenitley going to hit $900M. I'm very proud to be a fan of not only the Spidey Comics but of the highly successful franchise which is without a doubt going to break the record!.

One more comment before the on-topic police really get in here and bring down the hatchet, I can kind of understand the hesitation to have Galactus in all his comic glory involved in FF2, I think that might be one step over the line into geekdom for most self-respecting theatergoers.

If Jackson or Spielberg directed the movie, none of the bashing would go on. F4 wasn't the best movie but it's far from the worst. F42 looks WAYY better and though noone has seen it yet with the exception of "sources" but it's far from the comics. Again, not downing noone personally but judge the movie for yourself. Don't listen to "experts" or "sources" becuase if that was the case, POTC2, SM3, XM3, GR would have bombed, but SR and Batman forever would have been box office successes. Well, if the Big G rumor is true, that is not the kind of deviating from the story that I want! Even SM3 didn't do that. I don't mind some changes, but those kinds of changes (like possibly with the Big G) just suck.

And Spidey rules the BO (there I mentioned the Spider-Man BO).
