Nope, you're definitely not the only one. I have read nothing but complaints about the way he looks... and rightfully so.I don't know if I'm the only one to think this but I wish Thorin was made to look a bit more dwarvish in comparison to all the other dwarves. He just looks like slightly heavy shorter human.
No Orcs with the Wargs, I notice. I really hope they are redesigned to look different to the Moria Goblins. I would love to see some more feral Orcs, wearing animal skins and bronze armour.
So this movie covers the book up to the part where they float down the river on barrels? There won't be much plot left for the sequel.
the second movie will finish up the Hobbit and then bridge the gap between the Hobbit and LOTR.
There must be a lot of story in between TH and LOTR, then.
God... just beautiful. Just ****ing beautiful.
Plot for the sequel: Big. Effin'. Battle. So this movie covers the book up to the part where they float down the river on barrels? There won't be much plot left for the sequel.
Yes. Well done her. Can't quite see what cued you in for that, though?
That was just the old plan if I'm not mistaken... They're not doing it anymore.the second movie will finish up the Hobbit and then bridge the gap between the Hobbit and LOTR.
Dwarf women have beards. Thorin, a manly man Lord of Dwarfs, should have a flowing, kingly beard. It's that simple.I don't know if I would like thorin looking more dwarvish.

And I too think that Fili and Kili look horrible, but I don't really care because they're minor characters.
