Gollum looks incredible. He looks completely photo-realistic in the shot. The detailed work that went into rendering his hand is just spectacular...and those eyes. Wow.

I wonder if they will go all George Lucas and do a big ol' remastering of Lord of the Rings when the inevitable 6 film boxset comes out.

Since Peter Jackson doesn't own the Hobbit/Lord Of The Rings rights/ property chances of that ever happening are slim to none.

Plenty movies get remastered and released in boxsets. I can't think of a franchise that HASN'T done this at LEAST once.

The Alt Comic Con blog has a couple of Smaug scenes (which you don't see him obviously) and one with Bilbo standing on the treasure.

I think I see the reflection of Smaug in Gollum's eye.
