That is fricken Awesome! Fishburn's voice for the Surfer is perfect. Sorry I know you guys wanted Doug Jones, and his work should be commended, but Fishburn gives the Surfer that Greek phillosopher feel he always had in the comics.

I know it's gonna cause contraversy but I love the power switch, I think it's fricken hillarious. And Michael back there with that grin on his face doing the match lighting thing with his finger!!! LOL!!!

I know some of you are just bound and determined to hate this movie as you were the first. As for me, I don't expect shakespear, I expect a good fun ride that I got with the first movie and this movie looks to deliver that and more.

Also the special effects are noticably improved in this one. The standoff with Doom and the Surfer is proof positive of that.

BTW the scene of the F4 in the woods, are they supposed to be in Latveria?

Do any of you remember the forest scene kirby drew that time when he hurled a forest at the Human Torch.

Tim Story has really done his homework. I think that when the director's cut comes out for the first movie and the one for this we will begin to see that Tim has really paid homage to Lee & Kirby, notwithstanding some of the frustrating changes.

This looks like the first really epic comic book movie ever. It is just appropriate that it would happen in a movie based on "The World's Greatest Comic Book".

We can be kids again now.

Wow what a trailer, i've said it before the look of this film looks soooo much better than not only the first one but a lot of superhero movies!

Effects look great, set's look great and the story looks to be a typical fantastic four adventure.

Yes the power swapping has been done in the comics, most recently johnny and sue traded powers and sue talks to johnny about how she never realised how much responsibility it was to have his power.

And its no wonder Harry is geeked out about this trailer, it was in a word FANTASTIC!!!

Tim Story stepped it up big time. Too bad they couldn't fix the Thing. The jury's still out on Galactus and Dr.Doom.

And I see a couple of ideas from X3 used... the water caving in.... reminiscent of Jean rising. And when SS uses his power on Doom, looks like the demolecularzation powers Phoenix had.

Definitely looks better than the first film, but on par with the first films trailer so...Jury is still out! I HOPE TO GOD ITS GOOD but will keep my hopes under control. And what the hell is up with the contacts on Jessica Alba!?!? They look WAY off, I mean it's bad enough they try so hard to make her a Malibu Barbie type but the eyes are crazy wrong!

Just a very, very minor complaint (a very geeky one):
The early stage Thing of the first movie struggling to drag a fire truck was (barely) acceptable. But now seeing him, all grown and rocky, lifting a Mega Cab with visible effort - and using more than a single hand - is REALLY understating his strength.

Great, great trailer!
Call me crazy, but I loved that they are still keeping Doom a surprise for us, and that one line by the Surfer was such a cool line, so well delivered. Laurence Fishburne was a great choice for the Surfer's voice indeed.
I'm going to watch Spiderman 3 tonight, and I hope this one is among the previews, it would kick all kinds of @$$ on the big screen!

I can't believe some are actually debating who's voice it is for the Surfer. IT'S LAURENCE FISHBURNE PEOPLE! I don't know why some complained, he sounds good.

I watched it. And then I wets myself. It was excellance, especially the Surfer at the end of the trailer, knocking all the missiles away with ease.

Doctor Doom looks to be impressive, as well.

I'll be darn if that trailer isn't gold!! The movie looks very well done judging by the trailer.

The Good: THE SILVER SURFER! He looks great. I have no complaints with the trailer. Looks epic and fantastic.

The Bad: Alba looks terriable. I don't know what went on in the make up room. She looks worse. Why didn't they have her keep the same look like the first one? Those contacts and blonde wig looks so d@mn unatural on her. Not sure I like the hint from the trailer "The think that made them Fantastic" cause it seems to imply that Galactus is responsible for their powers. Not an idea I'm against, but if we aren't getting 616 Galactus but a Cloud or drone ships, I don't like it.

Sadly my hopes that the movie is good has not improved. I hope I'm proved wrong. Sly, slick and cunning like a FOX are as old as time, so take note of the FOX in FOX studios. I do not trust this movie studio. They will not sucker me in only to be disappointed. I really couldn't take it.

this is even mroe bad. i can not belive that this realesed such a bad trailer. dear lord. the funny part is that the movie looks very good. it really looks like a good fantastic four movie. but this trailer is a disaster.

I'm about to watch SM3 in theaters in an hour, here in France ; I have the foolish hope to see that trailer on the big screen.

It's a great trailer establishing the Surfer perfectly, LF's voice is perfect as it is (softer than the Morpheus voice) ; I'm still being worried about details on the film, especially Galactus, but so far so very good.

Agreed. It is easily Laurence Fishburne. If you don't believe it, just watch the Matrix Reoloaded Trailer and compare the voices. No doubt, it's Fishburne and he sounds truly impressive.
