I must say that this trailer rocked and in the spirit of comparison, let's see how the visuals have improved over the course of a few months.

I must say while the teaser had near perfect SFX, the final trailer has definiately improved on all aspects. I'm glad SS doesn't have those hollow eyes and white pupils. Plus the texture seems alot smoother and glistens more with reflection. thank god Weta is doing the visuals.

I think Spiderman 3, Pirates, Harry Potter and Transformers are in tough competition for best SFX oscar this year.

I looooooooove love love LOVE the trailer!!! I think this movie will be great. I like the scene with Johnny and Ben switching powers. And all the special effects are great.

A lot of people are complaining about the movie because of what they saw or think they saw in the trailer. The trailer just show very short clips, and very fast. In two minutes they show clips of a whole movie! You can't judge a movie because of a trailer.

Like, for example: Johnny getting the others powers. That happened in the comics before, and for what I saw, they did it very good in the movie.

Ben having trouble lifting a truck. We still don't know if something happened to Ben before and he is a little weak at the moment, or if it's playing in slow motion.... it could be a lot of things we don't know. Or maybe he just can't lift it up. We still don't know anything.

Everybody should calm down and wait until you watch the movie, then, if you don't like it, you can complain about it.

Me? After watching the trailer, now I really can't wait to see the movie. It let me wanting more!!! They showed us a lot of things without spoilers. It was a good work. I'm wondering more things now after watching it. I think that's the effect that a trailer must have. To make people wonder about it and want to see the movie. At least, that's the effect it had in me. AND I LOVE IT!!! t:

Very interesting comparisons, Dark Phantom, on the improvements on the Surfer. Kirby, then later John Buscema's Surfer had the typical muscular superhero physique and it looks like he was bulked up more. Doug's a good performer but he's a couple dozen sirloin steaks away from having the Surfer's build. Actually, in the cast Julian's physique comes closer, at 6 foot 3 with the 34 inch waist and broad shoulders, plus he was an avid surfer in his youth in Australia. ( *geez, it's getting warm in here) Doug does have the graceful movements that one would imagine. As for the silver nipples, it gets pretty chilly in outer space.

Dragon it seems he's trying to get on Kel's good side... Heh... I must have taken some of the starch out of him to soften him up. t: Ya don't want to mess with us armored types.

Well I for one am hoping that FOX is going to give us a glimpse of 616 Galactus at the end. I'm sure if WETA can pull off the SS they can pull off Galactus. I hope that FOX ponied up an extra couple of million to see Galactus and his World Ship near the end. After seeing the trailer I just can't believe that FOX would be that stupid to turn Galactus into a cloud, but then I may be giving FOX too much of the benifit of the doubt. Actually I am, but the trailer is so good. D@MN! I have to resist, my guard is slipping. I won't allow that to happen.

That's one of the reasons Spectral Motion gave Doug the gorgeous suit to wear. Yet I have to admit, despite the lean build he has pretty powerful muscles in that spare frame. He says he never looked so hot in his life!!

Didn't Doug say in the making of Hellboy video that you don't need to work out at the gym, you just need a couple of friends and some latex rubber and you're good to go.t:t: On the serious side, that lean build allows him to do roles that no one else can do because they're too bulky.

Yeah the more I watch this trailer, the more I can't help but think that F4: ROTSS is finally going to be recognized for being a great film and maybe even amongst the giants. Yeah, the series had a slow start but I think this film will knock them out of the park....now if only Galactus is done right and hopefully based on everything else, Doom is THE VILLAIN we expect, then I might have a new favorite movie of all time.....

I don't think those are nipples. Only reflections. On a guy with the Surfer's build, nipples are usually more to the upper side of the chest.

I was thinking recently that the FF foe Julian is best suited for would be Sub-Mariner, although i had no idea what his physique was like.

I understand bro, you want to believe Fox is going to come through but then you think of Rothman and the rumours of his hellish origins.

Well I think Tim Story will deliver. And some one (not from these boards) made a remark about Tim Story being a mediocre director. Sheesh this guy was the toast of the town with Barbershop as a breakout guy. Then he mistepped with another comedy, taxi and was dropped into a project that had a decade of history and preproduction and you want to nixon his whole career, we will be better able to judge his abilities after this follow up.
